This game has a really well-crafted story that kept me hooked all the way through. The voice acting is fantastic, and the art is beautiful. Everything came together to make the experience engaging. What I didn’t expect, though, was how much of the story felt like it was missing at first. The Steam version doesn’t offer the 18+ patch, so I played a few routes without it. But I started noticing that some parts didn’t make sense, and certain scenes felt incomplete or confusing — like being forced to make choices without context. I ended up adding the patch myself, and that’s when I realized just how much lore, character backstory, and important context had been held back. It’s not just about the NSFW content — the patch restored scenes that gave deeper insight into the main character and helped explain shifts in dynamics between characters. The story felt way more complete and fulfilling with the patch, plus there were more CGs (even non-explicit ones). That said, I have to give a heads-up: getting the patch also means unlocking a lot of brutal, disturbing scenes — including intense psychological horror, assault, and other dark themes that were completely hidden in the base game. Replaying the routes with this content made me question whether ignorance had been bliss.;; Still, I think I’d rather have seen the full story despite how heavy it got. Just be prepared — this isn’t just a romance or drama.

Here're what I feel after completing the game: - If you're light-hearted, this game is not for you. If you insist to play, skip Matsuda and Takara routes which are quite twisted and dark. - Matsuda is my favourite. I love his deep voice and hunk daddy vibes! Even though people say he is a bastard, he's just loving Azuma and taking responsibility in his own way in adversity. Not to mention that his sex scenes and moans are the hottest among all! - Mitsuki is your typical tsundere loving boyfriend. He's great but I don't like his long hair. - Takara is the least developed character. His route is too focused on feeding us the truth such that there's not enough elaboration on his love for Azuma. - Also I don't understand Takara's actions in some routes. For example, in one of Matsuda's bad endings, shouldn't Takara be able to survive Matsuda's massacre given his background and unhuman strength? The same goes for one of Mitsuki's bad endings where Azuma killed everyone - why is Takara afraid of Azuma and doesn't fight back? - Remember to download the patch from JAST store before you start, or you will miss out all sex scenes!

Great art style. Captivating story. However, if you want the spicy scenes, you will have to download the free patch for the real unedited adult scenes. The free patch can be downloaded from JastBlue’s website. Just search JastBlue paradise patch on Google and it should show up. I love this game 10/10

I'm currently more obsessed with the game than I should be. I've played it 100% through and can only really recommend it but It's not for the faint-hearted. The game deals with some very dark themes. To be honest, I also found some of them very distasteful and unpleasant. That's why I skipped through some of the text until the parts were finally over. There are only 3 "romance" options per se, so it would have been great if you didn't have to feel bad most of the time while reading. I already knew from the trailer and the informations that bad things would happen on the island. That's why I was especially tense during the first 2 rounds of the game, wondering when and what would happen. The story was exciting, but left me with unanswered questions. I wish they had taken more time with the final route. I hope the DLCs will be made available on Steam at some point.
