The story itself is really nice, the controls can be a bit clunky at times. And the achievements, at least for me, have been bugged for a long time. So if you want to JUST play the game for the story, go for it when it's on sale, but just be aware that you may not be able to 100% the achievements.

I cried so much while playing this game... I can say that the description of "Paws: A Shelter 2 game" is not that accurate, because the game is more a relaxing experience than an adventure platformer, and like it said, which deals with loss and friendship. The main story focus on a cub lynx that gets separated from the mom and siblings, and is on its way to find its family. The journey is very short, but quite emotive, and involves also getting some food and having a friendly companion. The atmosphere and soundtrack is really nice and calming, even though I've faced some bugs on the controls and on the background elements. What actually broke me in "Paws" was the fact I didn't expect to make a choice in the end, and it hit me hard. It made me realize that what matters in life is not reaching our goals, but our journey. When I found my family in the game I was happy for a few moments, but as soon as I noticed that I would have to leave behind alone the cub bear, I just couldn't take it. The bear became a friend and companion during hard times, so it didn't seem right to be selfish and leave it alone because I have reached the end of my journey... So yes, I definitely recommend this game <3

Short but pleasant experience. I've been playing the shelter games ever since I was a kid. I finally picked up Paws today and tried it out! The art style and soundtrack is immaculate as all the shelter games are! The story is short but bittersweet, one that all shelter/animal fans should experience!

I just seen this in my library and I got so many memories, this game is truly heart touching and really explores how many types of sad and love you can feel in such a small amount of time.
