PC Building Simulator is like that time you watched a YouTube video of someone assembling a computer and thought, "I could totally do that." Then you tried, and your computer exploded metaphorically, of course. But with this game, it’s more like a safe, virtual explosion where your dignity remains intact, and you only need to reset the software every 45 seconds. Let’s talk game play: The premise is simple you’re running a PC repair shop and your job is to build, upgrade, and troubleshoot computers. Think of it as House Flipper, but with a lot more dust and wires that seem to have a vendetta against you. You’ll start by installing a graphics card the wrong way, probably fry a few components, and then realise you’ve just spent 30 minutes trying to figure out why the power button isn’t working (pro tip: it's not plugged in). The “Realistic” mode is an absolute thrill, where you get to deal with customer orders that are just vague enough to make you question your life choices. Is it really the power supply that’s busted, or are they just saying that because they’re secretly running Bitcoin mining software and don't want you to know? The suspense! The drama! And let’s not forget about the impeccable customer service. There's nothing more satisfying than receiving an order for a computer that “just needs a little tweaking,” only to realise you’ve been sent on a wild goose chase to install a 10TB hard drive and “optimise the airflow,” all while trying to figure out how the heck to clean a case without accidentally damaging everything in sight. Pro tip: Just vacuum everything with your laptop running, it’s fine. But honestly, the highlight is the actual building process. You get to play around with different components, click on things, and watch as they either magically fit together like a perfect Lego set or fail miserably like your last Tinder date. The real kicker is when you successfully boot up the computer and it actually works. It's the most satisfying thing in the world, even though you might not understand why. And then there’s the “Free Build” mode, where you can go wild and build your dream rig without the pressure of customer expectations. That’s when the true chaos starts. You’ll throw in the latest GPU, slap on 16 sticks of RAM, throw in a few RGB lights just to spite your bank account, and then try to figure out why your PC sounds like a jet engine taking off. But hey, at least it looks cool, right? In conclusion, if you’ve ever thought about building a PC but feared the chaos of real-world mistakes (or the guilt of actually spending money), PC Building Simulator is the perfect way to prepare. It’s a hilarious, oddly therapeutic way to embrace your inner geek while quietly avoiding the inevitable disaster that is “replacing the thermal paste. 10/10, would accidentally install a 10,000 RPM fan again.

I like the game. It's good to know how to build a PC but please update the game with the current hardware available in the markets. So we can build a PC with current items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ – I had no idea what I was doing... and I loved it I bought this game knowing nothing about computers. Like, I thought RAM was just something that made my PC go fast. But now? I can actually recognize parts, build a system, and even troubleshoot stuff (in-game... baby steps 😅). PC Building Simulator makes learning feel easy and fun. The tutorials are clear, the tasks ease you in, and Free Build mode lets you mess around without pressure. Plus, everything uses real brands—so if you're thinking of building a PC in real life, this is actually a great place to start. It’s chill, it’s satisfying, and I never thought I'd enjoy plugging in virtual power cables this much. 10/10 would accidentally forget thermal paste again.

I love this game. I wanted to learn how to build a custom computer from basic components. A friend recommended this game and I'm really glad they did. While the game is far simpler than building a computer in real life, it does a great job of teaching what the fundamental parts are, how they fit together, and the basic approach to finding compatible combinations. It even goes into (very over-simplified) methods of tuning and over-clocking your CPU, RAM, and GPU. And it does it all in a surprisingly fun way, and with components that actually have real-life counterparts. Fair warning: Any computer you assemble in the game is not guaranteed to work as well (or have the same compatibility) as the real-world analog, so this does not stand in for a part picker. But it was quite amusing to be able to assemble my real-world rig inside the game with the same corresponding parts. Even once you pass all the story jobs, the game is still enjoyable, as the equipment keeps evolving. The developers regularly add new components as they come to market in the real world, so you can keep building bigger and better desktop rocket ships. Tips for new players: * You'll definitely want to invest in any and all screwdriver upgrades as soon as possible. That part of the game gets a little tedious pretty quickly. * Be prepared for occasional frustration, when a time-constrained job comes in that requires parts you haven't unlocked yet (that only happened to me in the early game). * Twice I made the mistake of accepting a customer repair/upgrade job on the same day it was due. Since the customer's rig doesn't show up until the next morning, it was an automatic failure. Seems like a bug, tbh, but easily avoidable if you're paying attention.
