It's... fine. I got it on sale, but I wouldn't have gotten it otherwise as the amount of content is pretty minimal, and I don't think this game is updated anymore. My first few days were enjoyable, especially when I decided to wander around and adopt a dog. Though, doing this during the tutorial broke it, and I wasn't told where home was anymore. I did find it after exploring the map even more, but it was a little annoying. I would have liked to have edited my house, or even just have a dog bed in there for my little friend. I'm glad employees were available early on, and I could easily afford all of them within a few days. However, it's not enough. They can't keep up with all of the tasks, so you end up having to do some things still. You also can't hire anyone for the front desk, which would have been very helpful. I enjoyed many of the features available, even though many had no point. There's gambling, competing against a gym bro, a rival gym you can attack (and destroy), a boxing gym (in the bar), a better house you can buy, a shop to buy products.. the vitamin bar, pool, second floor, and classes were all things that made things more interesting. By late game, when I was finally able to buy the boxing gym, I was super disappointed. It does not run on it's own and requires your direct input every night. It also earns very little money. By night two of owning it, I never returned. It's not worth it. The game could also use significantly more build products. You can use paint.. and that's basically it for actual decoration. No plants, no cool floors or wallpapers. I liked the idea of the TV, being able to play YouTube videos on it, but I couldn't get that to work at all, so we stuck with the dark screen. Ultimately, if you have a few dollars and it's on sale, it could be worth grabbing, but there's definitely better games out there that still receive updates.

It has a good fast pace, where some simulators are painfully slow. Also good advancement, as said, not slow. Not without challenge though either. Great game so far!

Fun, a little too much walking, mid graphics, cool strip clubs, rare updates, becomes hard to progress at a point For the $16.99 price (in CAD), I wouldn't recommend. Buy it on sale instead. It's still enjoyable.

I mean, it is what you expect it to be. But very fun for 3/4 hours lol Also super easy to get all achievements. I just love the gym.

Recommended if you can get it on a sale. The main gameplay loop is moderately fun if you like simulation games and is about on par with many other small indie studio simulation games, jank and all. What you see in the trailer on the store page is what you get. After about 7 hours, I have already unlocked all of the achievements and don't really feel the need to continue playing. It seems like the devs are done with this game, and at this point, there's not a ton of depth to the game and progression is really straightforward. The "rival gym" is kind of an odd gameplay mechanic and seems a bit, I don't know...pointless? You just go there and break stuff and slap some people, and you do that enough times until they close, and then you can take whatever equipment is in there. It doesn't seem to affect your own gym in any way, the "rival" gym never comes to your gym to raise hell, and there are no negative consequences for destroying their property or assaulting their customers. The underground fight club is also a shallow mechanic. You just take bets between two fighters, then they RNG fight, and you get a bit of money depending on the bet split. But it's never enough money to be a game changer. There's also a night club you can go to where you can pursue "romance," but, like the previous two things, it's extremely shallow and irrelevant to the core gameplay loop. it seems like the developer was self-aware that the game was dull and repetitive with just having a gym to manage that they just threw a few other random activities in there just so there was a reason to go somewhere else on the map. That being said, the main gameplay loop isn't bad. A tinge on the shallow side, but overall, it's decent. It's your typical "start from the bottom" tycoon type game. It does what it advertises. If you watch the trailer and it looks like it interests you, go for it. I don't see how it can have any replayability, however, so I'd advise waiting for a sale. For me, a game is worth it if I can get 1 hour of enjoyment per dollar I spent on the game. I got it on sale and have about hit that 1:1 ratio, but for $11USD, it wouldn't be worth it to me.
