After 100%ing this game I'm legally allowed to say it didn't really live up to my gameplay expectations. That being said if you meet the game at it's level it's not bad or anything, it just lacks the ambition to go beyond the base premise of it's concept. Maybe this is a personal preference thing, where my preferred take on an idle game is something that blurs the line between a more traditional business management game and an idle game but ultimately any meaningful gameplay at all is what I'm looking for in a game like this. And to that end, it doesn't outright fail because it does have that pachinko shooter action. However, progression is very shallow, once you have all prestige upgrades, prestiging and prestige points are useless and consequently so are many of the ball types, idling becomes so effective that active play doesn't really meaningfully improve your income, and there's so much going on screen that it loses the appeal of an idle game with the backdrop of pachinko and just becomes unhinged noise and sounds. Which isn't outrageous on paper that's an idle game classic but really there's not much of a difference between the chaos of mid and late game. The intrigue of the ball variants are frankly mostly exclusive to the early and late game balls but even amongst those balls there are uninteresting balls. Balls come off as just a vehicle for exponentially higher income generation with a few critical exceptions, but no one ball is irreplacable and given the final ball in the game that seems intentional. If you are coming into this game looking for an idle game with a light show this is not a hideously bad option. I feel kinda bad saying it, but it is akin to jingling a set of keys. The progression also wasn't so bad that I quit midway through, I did feel compelled to see it through to the end for a handful of reasons. I just think this game would freakishly benifit from a sequel that really reaches the potential of the concept and has ambitions for more interesting and cerebral gameplay. That and better progression. But a Pegidle 2 would be a game I'd be highly interested in for those reasons. If you're looking for exactly what this game advertises then yes it is a game you can warrent picking up especially on a sale. If you're looking for something that scratches a similar precision puzzle adjacent cerebral peggle esque gameplay loop combined with elements from an unexpected subgenre, you do frankly have many better options.
