Poly Bridge 3 is a puzzle-design game about building a bridge, then sending cars over it in the hope they hit the end. Played a solid 15.6 hours before putting it down (there's a lot left to play later). Difficulty starts easy then ramps up to 'how am I supposed to do this?" levels later in. Good game for kids and engineers. This game feels like Poly Bridge 2 with better physics and graphics. Fact, if you don't know where to start in this series, start with 3 and call it a day because 2 is almost too much like it. Had a ton of fun solving all the different bridges. In 3 there is an easy to access 'help' mode where you can see how other plays solved it if you get stuck. Early on you can even steal their blueprints. And about halfway through this wont help as much because people rely on techniques that the game doesn't bother describing to you (like the 'rope bridge' technique). Through trial and error, you can sort them out but it takes longer if you don't monkey around figuring out how everyone else did it. A lot of people stop playing at this point. Going by achievements, 1/10 people actually get all the way through the '3 sheep' difficulty levels. If you don't already know them or can't figure out how other people solve certain bridges or how they go about it, the game can drag on with all the trial and error involved. Some lands give you next to nothing on guidance. And the game doesn't do nearly enough to introduce hydraulics, springs, and the ilk. Anchor points are introduced in PB3. They're overly expensive slabs of under-sea concrete and help with really long bridges. There are more landscapes and a little landscape themeing that's unique. There's a sandbox mode, as well as a mode figuring out other people's bridge/land ideas, leading to hours more fun. PolyBridge 3 has mods to dl for it and you're encouraged to do so. Some make the game easier, others make the game look silly. There are achievement. Most you can get by dorking around long enough and getting through the areas. At least one you can't get unless you're really good and start a new game file. This might be irksome to achievement hunters. I liked Poly Bridge 3. Was worth the money and there's a lot left to build, both in the main game and in the sandbox modes.

Incredibly entertaining puzzle game! After seeing RCE and Aliensrock play this on the Youtubes, I had to try it myself. After 120 hours, I'm still having fun trying to finish (and optimize) the basic levels. Level by level, the challenge keeps increasing and just getting to the end requires more and more outlandish bridge constructions. And once you find a good solution, it's always a fun competition to optimize the design and get on the lowest price leader boards. Game is excellently made. Where the previous versions used to have game mechanics that allowed for cheesy solutions, the devs have made great progress in balancing the materials available and the levels. Now even the top score bridges actually look like bridges, instead of physics abuse. If you like puzzles, bridges, and chill guitar music, this is a must-buy.

Great game, feels like its missing mechanics from the other two games, but all together really well built, not for the weak willed though, later levels can get really frustrating. doesn't baby the player, but also isn't imposable, even though some levels may feel like it. Amazing sandbox too, fun and basically no limitations, as long as you can imagine it you can try it.

As someone who has played all 3 Poly Bridge games, and has just fully completed this game's campaign. I have mixed feelings about it. Pro's: The Physics engine has been improved from the previous two games, no longer are solutions of random falling roads filling the top of the leaderboard's The addition of foundations, limited boundaries to build within and new vehicles lead to some genuinely engaging engineering puzzles, particuarly in the later more challenging stages of the game. I think the changes to spring mechanics are overall an improvement from Poly Bridge 2, springs are now much more simple as there is no option to change the tension in the springs. I think that this good because spring levels in Poly Bridge 2 were not fun to play in my opinion. The challenging levels in which they featured were incredibly finicky and lacked much creative thought, as a viable solution often felt obvious, but building it was a pain. Of course, the simplification does reduce the ways in which springs can be used and subsequently the versatility of level design, so this is down to personal preference. Con's: Many of the levels in this game feel very reminiscent of levels from previous games, subsequently, I was able to cobble together bridges for these levels much more hastily and without thought, meaning that they didn't scratch my engineering itch nearly as much as I would have liked. Additionally, I wish that there were an easy way in game to just skip through the tutorial / easy worlds and get straight to the difficult puzzle worlds. Sitting through the tutorial not being able to access all of the tools / shortcut keys straight away made it feel like a chore just to get to the levels that I wanted to. The first half an hour of any game is critical, and I feel like mine was rather uninteresting. Finally, the removal of challenge levels I think is a massive shame. The extra limitations on levels that were previously easy made for an incredibly fun experience after I had finished the main campaign in Poly Bridge 2, and their removal reduces the amount of time an avid engineer can spend playing. Overall, as a veteran player I had a positive experience with this game and would recommend it to any person who enjoys puzzle games of any sorts and I look forwards to what Dry Cactus have to offer next

When I was in junior high I built a wooden bridge in shop class. When the the teacher put my bridge on the hydraulic press i was nervous, but confident in my build. The teacher pressed the button..... it lasted one second before exploding into a million pieces. Now, thanks to polybridge I can heal my childhood trauma
