This game is regarded as one of Valve's finest and a timeless classic. The main plot and lore are top-notch, much like in their other titles, and the gameplay is enjoyable and intellectually stimulating.

This game will forever be a lifelong classic. Made in 2007 but beats so many modern day games in terms of quality and enjoyment. Sit back and enjoy some cake!

There are no enemies, no open world, and barely any plot at first glance. But you do have a portal gun to solve puzzles β€” or just entertain yourself by falling into an infinite loop. Your companion is the sarcastic AI GLaDOS, who promises you cake but does it in such a tone that you start suspecting you're more of an ingredient than a guest. The gameplay makes you feel smartβ€”at least until you get stuck trying to figure out where to place a portal without face-planting into a wall. Portal is like a physics exam that’s actually fun, but you still walk away feeling like you’ve been tricked.

I would wait till it’s on sale for a dollar because the game is very short.
