Suicide Guy is one of the first games I played after getting off Dota 2, and honestly, the timing probably made it feel even more refreshing than it actually is. After all the stress and intensity of competitive multiplayer, this game feels like a weird, goofy puzzle break where you just mess around in strange dream worlds trying to figure out how to progress. The whole idea is pretty bizarre - you’re a guy stuck in his dreams and the only way to wake up is to “kill yourself” in increasingly absurd, cartoonish ways. It sounds dark on paper, but in practice it’s more slapstick puzzle-platforming than anything serious. Each level is basically a small sandbox where you interact with objects, solve light puzzles, and figure out how to trigger the next “death” to wake up. The concept is interesting enough, and some puzzles are actually clever, but the execution is very inconsistent. Movement feels a bit janky, objectives aren’t always clear, and a lot of the challenge comes from trial and error rather than smart design. Still, there’s a certain charm to just exploring the dream worlds and experimenting with everything. The good: - Unique and weird concept that stands out - Fun casual break after intense games like Dota 2 - Light puzzle-solving with some creative ideas - Cartoonish tone keeps it from feeling too serious - Short levels make it easy to pick up and play - Some funny and unexpected interactions - Decent variety in dream environments - Relaxed single-player experience The bad: - Janky movement and controls - Objectives can be unclear at times - Heavy reliance on trial-and-error puzzles - Gameplay can feel repetitive - Some levels are frustrating instead of fun - Physics can be inconsistent - Not much depth beyond the core idea - Presentation feels a bit low-budget Overall, Suicide Guy is a strange but occasionally enjoyable puzzle-platformer that works best as a short, casual distraction. It’s rough around the edges, but coming from something as intense as Dota 2, it definitely hits as a weirdly relaxing change of pace.

It was never this hard to kill myself in a video game. Suicide Guy is a fun game where you are stuck in a dream, and the only way to wake up is by killing yourself in each level. It’s a really fun concept, and the levels are very creative. The puzzles aren’t that easy, which I personally like. It features a lot of fun and weird situations, like getting eaten by a dinosaur or jumping in front of trains. Overall, it’s a really fun game, and I can definitely recommend it.
