It's a great project, that got me into PowerRangers/SuperSentai. But why there is so little discussion about the game on the internet? I wish this game had better promotion than what it got.

I'd give this mixed if I could, but I lean towards positives. This is very much so a low budget fighting game and you can tell from how some earlier characters look and feel to play compared to characters like RJ or the SF5 crossover characters. Not like it isn't fun to play any earlier characters, I still love playing Slayer and Dragon Yellow, but they noticeably have less sauce to their visuals and flatter sound effects. If you prefer movesets and feel to visuals, you won't mind it at all though. If you're into single player content, steer clear. Story mode is a bunch of versus fights and not much else, and if you're playing it for the story, getting the source material (Shattered Grid comics) is more worthwhile. Ai kinda sucks, but that's an eventual given when you learn how to play the game, no AI that I can think of is actively going to mess with someone who can do advanced techniques in a game. I also gotta mark it down for the BBTAG syndrome of having a majority of the roster be DLC, but it's no SF5. Despite all that, the amount of cool stuff you can do with characters in this game wasn't expected at all, I thought this would be a really beginner oriented game but it's got tons of stuff for people who *know* fighting games. It's still beginner friendly, but the skill ceiling is high. That's the main reason this is positive. TLDR: You like story or flashy visuals? This ain't it. You prefer how the game plays? Chip in.

Recommended on sale for fighting game and Power Rangers fans. Plenty of fun, some improvements that could be made but has a decent variety of characters and a short but fitting story. +Visuals, art style +Music +Variety of options +Key rebinding +Story and arcade modes +Voiced intro and cutscenes +Variety of powers, specials +Variety of characters/series +Some classic rangers +Play as heroes and villains -No mouse support, even in menus -Inconsistent sound/volume -Can't rebind some keys, menu buttons -Text dialogue not voiced -Some infinite/unstoppable AI combos -Sparse/uneven story -Overuse of black ranger enemies -Cutscenes lack animation -Almost entirely ranked achievements -No reward/ending for arcade -Over half characters are DLC-locked -Short, ~2-3 hrs of solo content

This one is one hell of a doozy. Do you want a Power Rangers fighting game? Do you want it to be multiplayer? Do you want it to move as fast as MvC? If your answer is yes you are looking at the right game! It is going to kick your ass, hard, souls hard, but god damn is it fun. Crazy ass combos, broken characters, looking at you Eric Myers, but fun as all hell. When you start getting the blocking and push blocks down, as well as finding assist characters that work for you this game is a blast, a horrid pretty ugly blast, but a blast none the less. Grab it while its on sale and you won't be sorry!
