Great game. I don't get the negative reviews. If you spent 5+ hours building automated contraptions and they were destroyed pre-update--why leave a negative review if you obviously didn't read the game's description? "Brutalist PSX satire meets first-person sandbox chaos". This game did not state anywhere that you would not be punished or forced to rethink/rebuild your designs. Disappointing that the developer had to pivot a game stage that encouraged creativity and problem solving. This specific mechanic (now removed) would have shown that who or...what you're feeding was purposefully hindering your progress. You have to rebuild when you unlock better tools for better combos anyway. I feel like a dev shouldn't have to bend backward to save potential sales because a loud minority don't understand that they aren't entitled to have the experience tailored to them rather than the way that was intended by the creators. Also, if you have a good PC and your frames are dropping like crazy...you should probably know that it isn't a problem with your GPU and no matter how good your GPU is, automation and incrementals are CPU heavy. Maybe don't leave 3000 ducks/cash registers on the ground and your frames won't dip. I play 260hz 2k. Only time my frames dipped were when major bottlenecks in my logistics chain caused huge pileups. Overall, I just finished the secret ending and...wow. Great job dev team. I love the atmosphere, the depth, the experience, and especially the freedom and creativity provided with all of the "off the rails" tools. Glad I played the demo and picked this up on day 1. Completely satisfied gamer right here.

This is one of those games where I wish there was a mixed recommendation option, but ultimately I think I enjoyed it more than not. Fundamentally, this is a logistics game about getting objects from point A to point B.. However, unlike similar games, this one has the twist of them being oddly shaped physics objects, and you are given no straightforward tools like conveyor belts to transport them. To many people, that might sound like a frustrating prospect, and that's completely understandable. But I think that this premise creates very unique puzzles that you don't find in other logistic games. I enjoyed having to figure out how to manage physics-based problems like erratic bounces, spillage, clogs, etc. However, where my opinion starts to sour is that this concept just frankly isn't explored very well beyond the demo. The early tools are good and create a sense of building crazy contraptions out of whatever bizarre options are available to you, and it made the game seem very promising. But as it goes on, your new tools feel less and less considered, with some of the last tools you get being buggy or outright broken. There's also this weird disconnect where many of them only exist to add extra value to your products, which is essentially pointless because 90% of your income will end up being from combo bonuses. In the end, I had fun, but it mostly left me hoping that another game will come along and develop this idea more thoroughly.

this game is absolutely stellar even though it randomly destroyed my stuff and placed unmovable debris over my hours of work, the dev quickly removed the debris and the whole event from the game ......after it destroyed my stuff, but that's alright! receptive dev, amazing game you should definitely get

Developer responded with an update to the debris problem! Nice, great game and of course a big plus when devs listen to the community. Thanks!

My job is to feed rubber ducks to a giant hole. Somehow this still has better working conditions than my actual job.
