Recommended 8/10* Great looking high res art, great character designs, there are a lot of characters, which to be honest its not really necessary cause the game its a dr mario-like game, where you have to make bundles of puyo puyos of the same color so they blow up, and your character its just on the side speaking in cute japanese. This champions version it has of puyo puyo 2 and puyo puyo fever, to be honest i don't get why the game weights almost 10gb. the game goes really cheap on sales, its a classic you cant miss.

if you for some reason hate puyo puyo lore but like the gameplay (imo both are important to a good puyo game (cough 20th anniversary cough) play this. good for what its worth 8/10

one of the best singleplayer games of all time!! really fun to play, controls great, never gets old! only problem is that there is barley anyone online and needs crossplay, but other then that definitely play this game out!

Bought this while it was on sale. Puyo Puyo eSports, a.k.a. Puyo Puyo Champions is an asset flip of the mobile game Puyo Puyo Quest. At its core, it's got the gameplay of Puyo Puyo 2 (a.k.a. "Tsu") and Fever mode. Most importantly, there's no Tetris in it. Can I recommend this game? To hardcore players, absolutely. But the game is severely lacking in content, compared to the Anniversary games that are packed with content. There isn't even an Arcade Ladder! The Switch version may be the version that you would most easily find players on.
