This game taught other developers how to create realistic gameplay and is the true foundation of all realistic war games. It's a masterpiece that even after all these years is still playable, and you won't notice its age because of its high quality and detail. Now, let's talk about the realistic gameplay: the movement and maneuvering. You'll feel like a real soldier on the battlefield. You'll feel the sensation of the rifle as you fire. This is in addition to the way you run with the rifle; the soldier will hold the rifle in one hand and run. While this doesn't significantly affect the gameplay, it leaves a big impact on realism. Another great feature is that if you kill an enemy, you'll get XP or a small indicator in the upper right corner to show you. This is a nice touch because some realistic games have become so inconsistent that you can't tell if you've killed an opponent or not. This game is one of the best that depicts World War II, and I highly recommend it. However, there's one problem: the limited number of players. You'll find one or two servers that are full at most.

>when you sprint for too long your character will yell out "i cant keep on going like this" >when you are under suppressive fire your character will call out for his family >when you get hit and start bleeding sometimes your character will call for his *mum* >when you see a dead body your character will panic and it will effect accuracy and reloading speed >when your team is lossing your character will yell "JUST KILL US ALREADY" mfw when i see all my team mate died by a MG42 and we are lossing big this game is no field trip

One of the best WW2 shooters ever made from the progression and gameplay even down to the UI. I would give this game a solid 10/10 if it wasn't for the whitelisting requirements when making your own server. If Tripwire would come back and just whitelist even player-hosted servers this would still be the GOAT after all this time. Please Tripwire, I bet it could be done by an intern in an hour, and it's not like KF3 is working out.
