Cautious recommendation. There's a bit going on that isn't properly explained. For example, to properly evolve weapons you need to pick three of the same "colored" soul like things (I don't know what everything is called.) Doing so creates a "theme" for the upgrade and changes the behavior. Effectively makes every weapon in the game have... what... four or so evolutions? As a result there aren't as many weapons, but it's interesting. The art style is kind of not great to look at imo, it's got that Newgrounds Flash game kind of style that I dislike, but once the screen fills up it's not that big of a deal. With the lack of weapons in the game I find that certain builds tend to find their way to the forefront in terms of usefulness, but if you're willing to stick out somewhat awful basic weapons for their impressive evolution it's alright. Some of the maps are really interesting and have unique mechanics (Such as a moonbase that requires you to manage oxygen) which I like. Overall for being $5 I think it's a good time, but it's not a glowing recommendation.

Honestly, this is probably one of the better games in the survivors-like genre. The weapons are fun to use, the graphics are nice, and the weapon evolution depending on the per-weapon upgrades that you pick is interesting. I wish it had more content, but I think that's a good complaint to have.
