I’m a huge Hellboy fan and love Mike Mignola’s art style and work. I enjoy collecting his comics and art books, and I absolutely love this game. I really hope we get a sequel sometime in the future. If you’re also a Hellboy fanatic like me and love Mike Mignola’s unique style and artwork, this game is definitely for you.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3 You can view my VR mod gameplay here: https://youtu.be/s0UrlsQwfRE Yes, you can play Hellboy Web of Wyrd in VR using the UUVR mod by Raicuparta. The easiest way to install the mod correctly is to download and install Raipal (an app that lets you easily install the correct UUVR mod). In this game, I installed UUVR Mono modern. I only did one edit to the config file, which was "UI Patch Mode = None". That is to get rid of the black square UI that blocks the view partially. Keep in mind, the game is in 3rd person. Also, motion controllers are not used in this mod. You play with a gamepad. Also, currently, part of the UI is not visible on the VR headset as it renders to the desktop view only. So you'll need to be able to take quick peeks at the desktop to read along with the VOs or to read some UI info. Other than that, the game looks and plays great. The cell-shaded comic book art-style really shines in VR. The game also ran well on my RTX 5090. VR mod rating 7/10. I bought this game!
