It doesn't have a great start for beginners but it's still a fun game to play when you want to chill and enjoy world building. The the fun combinations with the other giants can really make the game more engaging. 8/10 I really would recommend it to my friends

I adore this game and the developers. This game holds a very special place in my heart, but the soundtrack is fantastic and the art is great.

I love this game so much I bought it twice lol (at release via another service and here on steam when I heard Reus 2 was out). Just understand it's non linear and exploratory in nature. A game to sort of try and explore different combinations and different unlocks. I love that this game doesn't really do a lot of combat/aggression type stuff. As that part exists in this game; it's only minor (why this human likes it over say a Civ game). The music is awesome and allows for time to fly. I've played both Reus games and each offers a bit of difference in game play style/approach. This game is a bit more laid bad sandboxy while as the second iteration does remind me of Civ style games, but in the best of ways (akin more to a Cesar IV or Children of the Nile sort of feel for Reus 2)

Figuring out the perfect combination of plants, animals and minerals to generate the most resources is an interesting puzzle in itself. There's so many achievements to reach as well so I'm never bored playing.
