Played on CachyOS using the Vulcan shaders. Running in 4K with avg framerate of 137 outdoors and 165 indoors. The game runs in GODOT, the graphics feel slightly downgraded from the old Unity build but the graphics are decent anyway and i rather have the fantastic open source engine performance that godot delivers. AMD Ryzen 5900x AMD 7900XTX I have spent 12+ hours in the demo and now i've seen a bit of the EA version. The game has made great process since the first demos and now it has more content and the solo developer has a promising outlook on the future of the project. In the current state the only negative i can find is that the AI viewdistance at night is a bit broken. This game is not for the Call Of Duty gamer, This is for the hardcore extraction gamer that wants to relax and have a more atmospheric experience in Finland. As someone living around the arctic circle and has relatives in Finland there are products and things that are inspired by real life Finland. Things i would want from the game: -If you die i'd like there to be something in the place where you die and the ability to maybe get some things back. -Co-op

1 dev project over a 4 year span so keep your expectations in check and this game will deliver a solid experience similar to a STALKER style game where you explore zones and get into gunfights.

Thank you, Antti Firstly, the developer, Antti, is insanely dedicated, disciplined and above all, honest. Secondly, this game is beautiful. The optimization is amazing for such quality, I'm hitting about 30fps steadily. I would like to talk not about the game in this review but the pricing, I fully expected this game to be priced with direct currency conversion or at least a rounded off figure, but the pricing is INCREDIBLY reasonable. The price tag I had in mind felt 100% justified but I am so glad that it is so reasonable. This lets so many people in second and third world countries experience this without feeling like they are overpaying and put it off until a deep discount so that they can buy it or attempting to pirate it instead. To put this into perspective for other people in first world countries, I saved up two weeks for this at the current currency conversion rate and I am spending HALF of what I expected to pay. This is amazing for myself and so many other people I know. Props to you Antti, for making the culture of Road To Vostok affordable and available for so many demographics. May you, the game and the community be prosperous in abundance.
