Most people that play this game are / were Tarkov players, so tell me this: * Have you ever been shot from 1400 metres away while trying to extract? ( Granted, this game can provide this.. but only if you customise it to. ) * Have you ever been rubber banded right back into enemy fire? ( Not an issue with this game! It runs just on your computer! ( NO LAG!! )) * Here's a kicker; have you ever wanted to customise. The. AI. This game excels in enemy customisation. Everything to making them the John Wick of the virtual world, clicking onto heads the absolute femtosecond you go to peak a corner, to the fickle tiny things like adjusting their turn speed, angle of perception, yadayada. Not only does the game look great, its immersion is close to that of much higher titles like Tarkov or Gray Zone Warfare. The rather small community of dedicated developers, and their AI developer Solarint, ( The creator of the SAIN mod for Tarkov, 'THE' AI improvement mod. ) are actively listening to their community, and working on updates based on what the community has asked for or reported. Put simply, this game is absolutely on its way to being the pinnacle of PVE extraction shooters. Albeit its fair share of bugs and some need for a few gameplay optimisations, this title is worth a buy.
For me, this is the absolute BEST (Co-oP/PvE) Extraction shooter out there! As a father of 2 kids, a wife, and working full-time, this is the best extraction shooter; fortunately, it isn't as extremely complicated as the well-known EFT game. And hopefully, the developers will keep it a bit like it is now. I hope to see updates very soon regarding new levels, sound adjustments, and also more weapons with attachments! This is exactly what i've been looking for. a PVE version of an extraction shooter with extreme gun customisability. where i don't have to worry about people who grind the game coming in and mopping the floor with me. it's hard to balance parenthood, full time work, and gaming and the little I do get to enjoy i much prefer to enjoy playing in a game where i can zone out for half and hour or so.
Frustratingly fun.. I settled on this while searching for a more tactical extraction shooter that didn't require a fulltime connection, hard to find it seems. I recommend it but it's definitely in Early Access. It's got offline solo or co-op, big maps, gun customization, a lot of game setting customization and a good enemy AI. The AI will flank, set up crossfire, shoot and move, hide and be overall deadly. It's missing IMO, AI teammates and a bunch of little details that I expect will be filled in during EA.
