Rogue trooper is one of those back in the day titles that offers quite a bit in a small package. While the game can honestly be run through in a few hours, it's worth the price of admission in my opinion. It's not super in depth, and I think that's what I enjoy most about it. Anyone can pick it up and enjoy it, the story is rather fun, and the gameplay is that PS2 Era of run and gun, or even basic stealth. While I can't say it'd be everyone's cup of tea, it certainly will scratch that itch for a touch of nostalgia and is just, fun.

A game that I played on the Ps2 and I never finished it, but now that I have the chance to play it, it is a game that I really found very fun and although it is not the best game, it is quite fun!

The game is filled with the atmosphere of action movies from the 2000s. The main character, driven by revenge, is alone against everyone with a large arsenal of different types of weapons. You shouldn't expect much from the game, but it deserves the attention of any gamer. An interesting plot twist, interesting but slightly cliched characters. Perhaps the gameplay is monotonous in places, but what do you expect from a game from the 2000s? everything was like that then. but, I played it once upon release and enjoyed it now, many years later. My rating: 7/10. worth at least trying.

Globe trotting action adventure of a alien planet, feels like an epic B movie revenge plot. Good: + cool concept, downloading your fallen comrades consciousness into your weapons and them helping you out. + shooting and varied weapons are cool + cool character designs + fairly long, travel to many places on the planet + some cool sequences including a train defense sequence and flying turret chase sequence. Bad: - You won't really use the abilities such as hologram/attract, turret etc much at all. Shooting is much easier. - world is kind of bland though they explain why, its a post war dystopia. Though wish more effort was put into the textures or something to make it more interesting. - controls are a bit awkward, changing weapons with a controller is cumbersome and annoying. Making you choose not to do it as often. - voice acting is alright but hard to distinguish each comrades voice, more varied voices would have helped here. - general jank, get caught on some geometry, auto stick to walls, etc can cause problems. Game leaves on a bit of a cliff hanger, so hope we get a sequel at some point.
