It's not done, but it is a modern version of the Guild 2 which is awesome. It has it's own personality, doesn't take itself too seriously, and I'm sleeping less to play it. It's a solid game and I can't wait to see how far they take it

Guild 2 Vikings Edition but more indie, more bugs, more crashes, but hey that's alright this games in early access and it's to be expected If the penalty for a crime is a fine, then that law only exists for the lower class and this game showcases it perfectly. This game is also a hell of a lot of fun once I understood it. Play the tutorial, it's worth it and will save you a headache later down the line. I'm playing on hardcore, so I'm not very far yet, [hardcore is long days, 30 days per season, 1 year after 4 seasons, player needs on, viking raids on - i put it on easy] I'm still in the first year but now in summer [the game starts in spring] as I write this. This game can be as easy or as hard as you want it. Changing settings is easy enough and there's a customization config if you want to change even more options! I started as a baker as that's what they teach you in the tutorial and what I was most confident in going in. So far, I've put nearly all my rivals out of business with arson, I have yet to be caught. In fact, I'm quite beloved by the community! I'm now the only bakehouse in town, but not the only flour mill. I'm working on it. I'm trying to get a soldier to marry my character to defend my businesses and family from viking raids. I adopted the orphans I hired to help run my bakery. I don't think I pay them anymore since I adopted them tbh, but I'm not entirely sure lmao. So, I'm 18 years old with two 13 year old kids, trying to marry a 20 year old soldier. If you can handle jank and love simulation rpgs like the guild 1 and 2 pick this up. I can't wait to see the game fully fleshed out and finished. 11/10 one of the best guild-like games out there that isn't the guild 1 or 2 [we don't talk about 3] 3/14/2025 story update - minor spoilers for gameplay: I now own a quarter of the town of Ashbury. Either burning my enemies, killing them outright with my gang of goons from the dens, extorting the roads as I make silver hand over fucking fist. Nobody can stop me because I can just pay a fine or if I can't, make them go to the pit. It's not like *I* was involved after all, why yes they are on my payroll why do you ask? You're not suspicious are you? Not gonna go around asking questions in *my* town? We're not gonna have any problems...Are we? Not like you can do anything about it, *my* husband's the governor / town ruler and *I'm* next in line! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! [For those wondering about the soldier I was romancing early on, turns out that you can't marry soldiers but you can fuck and kiss 'em. Sadly, marriage is critical for child bearing in this game. Soooo I switched to the governor instead and that worked out lmao - made it easier to take over the town, that's for sure! :v] *AHEM* I was never involved. I am a lovely herbalist doctor, healing the sick, offering some products for free [especially if they work for me] and my husbands the governor of the town. Even if they did catch me, dead humans tell no tales. Currently, I am 19, my husband is 27 [also at 900 rep with him lmao - sadly, he has since passed from the plague on the 9th day of Summer, 881AD. May you rest in peace, Newton. You won't be forgotten, and you will be missed. I'll make sure our daughter Sophia and unknown child currently in thyne womb whose yet to be given a name much less be birthed knows of you and loves you more than the surrogate father.], I own 20 buildings. [the default is 18, but i wanted 20. I'm still a Geneat. I'm working on it. ] Some of which include a corral for pigs and hens, a leatherworker, a butcher, woodcutter, 2 farms, the bakery i started with, a herbalist den, trade house, harbor trade house, a fishers dock, a normal trade house, shed, mine, several houses, a couple of dens to "keep the peace" off record. I also have 8 kids now. Only 2 are biological, the rest are adopted. They were originally workers, but then I saw they were orphans and felt bad, so, I adopted them. They've since taken over the homestead and anywhere with spare beds. I live in the herbalist hut most days like a hermit witch. I have all I need. Sleep, food, and if I am desperate, I can go fuck my husband or get a drink for a bliss buff [which refills your food and drink] and have all nighters, just like tonight. I fucking love this game. I can't wait to see what else gets added and how it improves over time. ps: I did eventually get that flour mill. I eventually made it *my* flour mill bwahahahahahahahahahahaha I also have a new husband since Newton. His name is Rowe. He's my personal guard, younger than me and leader of one of my dens lol i love this game. This game gets added to my "crack addiction" games along the lines of foundation, rimworld, kenshi, manor lords, songs of syx, final fantasy 14 and a few others. I can't get enough of it! I dream of the world, of playing it, of being in the world. This game is well worth more than $15 USD. I'd easily say $30 - $40.

This game right here is what was lost so many years ago in the gaming industry. I can tell the *1 dev* put her heart into this game. So much content, so many things and or directions you can go in this game. I feel out right lucky I stumbled upon this game. I have been addicted to it since I purchased it. 1 dev puts shame to the whole damn AAA industry! I feel guilty for waiting till this game was on sale to purchase it.. this dev surely deserved full price on this beauty of a game! At my age I almost thought I had grown bored of gaming but it was the way the new games are created. Most of the industry have lost sight in what makes a game fun and or entertaining.

Soulash 2, Kenshi, Adventure Mode DF, Elin, this game. There's a special world out there wherein these types of games are more common, but right now, this one does a DAMN fine job at the advertised gameplay. This is a fantastic open ended sandbox RPG. I am even seeing some Ruinarch concepts here, before that game died it was nearly one of the legendaries. There are no god powers here, but there's so much to do in regards to messing with the history of your little towns. A grand focus on the dynamism and reactivity of NPC's would be nice! More, mess with this person in this way and a logical reaction occurs, but otherwise! Gotta say, this game is shaping up to be one of the greats.
