First game I ever bought on Steam, 11 years ago back around October 25th, 2015. My playtime at the time of writing this is all I ever played at the time. It was on a really horrible old ex Office PC, It couldn't even run this game. Now, why am I writing this if I never got past the Menu? A weird form of Nostalgia is why. Now that I have a PC that can run this apex of gaming graphical design, I think I'll finally give it a try.
Ngl I just lowkey saw how one famous YTber was playing ts and my child brain was like nagging old bro to buy ts and like idk it felt like peak gameplay ultra geforce gta 6 mega gaming at that time, but now trying it again it just, idk, fine? idk lol seems boring, gonna recommend only in honor of my childhood memories
Game's fun if you know what you're doing (aka sell stuff to people in person and farm exp even before building a proper shop), pretty bare bones and it doesn't really have a reason to "exist" if that makes sense, one day you'll just be satisfied/content/bored of the progress you've made and you'll stop playing it, there isn't an objective at all. I wouldn't recommend it normally but the price is THAT low where I'll recommend it anyways, more like a "game you have in the background while you yap with your friends" typa game
It's time to give this game the recognition it deserves. Shoppe Keep is a classic that, even after 10 years, still manages to entertain fans of the genre. It has its flaws, mainly some bugs, a lack of content after a while, and graphics that look like they were created with Paint. Nevertheless, it's one of my favorite games and it is very nostalgic.
