Great dating sim, especially with the active bug fixes. If you're playing this in English, the translations will make it even more hilarious when making decisions. You'll definitely get your money's worth with the easy to follow to story and the great cinematography. Loved every lead and even the side characters. Looking forward to more from this dev.

TL;DR: Short, simple Chinese FMV game where you're a delivery guy turned CEO surrounded by four beautiful women with their own drama. Story is ridiculous, but that's not really why you're here. Worth it on discount for fans of the genre. Full Review: Secrets of the Heartbeat is a pretty typical Chinese FMV game, and by that I mean: short runtime, over-the-top plot, and a focus on beautiful actresses more than storytelling. I finished the entire game and got all the achievements in about 4 hours. You play as a delivery driver who suddenly becomes a CEO—yes, really. But hey, at least you’re not poor like the protagonists in similar games, so that’s already something different. There are 4 main girls: Dong Dong – Your secretary and an aspiring dancer who’s deep in debt after failing to launch her studio. Qi Li – A serious actress and model with strict parents, managed by your company. You Jia – Another company talent, focused on livestreaming yoga and meditation. She has a heavy backstory involving an abusive marriage. Le Le – A random part-timer who doesn’t even believe you’re the CEO (and honestly, who would?). The game doesn’t lock you into any “path” like many other FMV titles. You can explore every girl's scenes and just pick whichever ending you want. It’s low-pressure and very straightforward—there are no QTEs or minigames, just simple choices. As for the story... it’s ridiculous, sometimes to the point of parody. But it kind of works because it never takes itself seriously. Each girl’s ending basically turns into a joke or comedy twist, which made me laugh more than once. Ranking the girls (based on personal bias, since the story doesn’t matter much): Dong Dong > You Jia > Le Le > Qi Li Le Le actually surprised me—her character is pretty basic, but the actress really sells that “girl next door” vibe and bumped her up in my ranking. Final thoughts: If you’re into FMV games like this, grab it on discount (I got it for ~$3 after conversion). Full price? Probably not worth it unless you're a collector or genre fan. Also, don’t miss the bonus photo/video content in the achievements menu—it’s a nice little extra once you’ve unlocked everything.

Honestly wasn't expecting a lot because of the reviews but really loved this! One of my faves after Knowledge or Know Lady and Five Hearts Under One Roof. Plays well, has achievements, pretty girls, nice scenes and a funny story (we're actually the rich guy for once)
