Early/Initial Review: What a roller coaster of a game. At first I was somewhat uninterested in the direction of the game but the twist created a memorable experience unique only to this FMV(so far that I have played). Depending on love interest, the game will leave a memory with you, for good or bad. Despite the twist, I still can't really say I truly enjoyed the game as much as other FMV. Unique to this FMV: - Probably the least direct path of FMV with many scenes locked behind chain reactions than simply choosing who to hang out with. Say you want heroine 4, you will have to choose heroine 2 path as it branches into heroine 4 but without any indication that heroine 4 path is behind heroine 2 path. So if you chose heroine 1 path then you would miss out on the heroine 4 path that could be the deal breaker of good ending or bad ending. If you are adventures then this is probably the best thing for you. If you are like me who finds it a bit immersion breaking that I have to make a choice that I personally wouldn't to reach scenes that I do want. - Bonus content that is not translated. Yeah.... extra content such as interviewing the actresses are included but not translated at all. SOME contain subtitles in Chinese so pull out your favorite translator and get to screen capturing if you want context(which you will probably still miss out without localization). For the other bonus content, good luck. I don't think anyone in the community tab has translated them for us yet. Idk how to feel about this, I alway advocate for these type of extra content with BTS, Interviewing, and scenes not included in the main story path but to be untranslated is super weird. As always just like any other FMV games I have tried to spend a substantial amount of time in this game, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this gameplay, all female characters have their own charms. I realise this game was filmed in Guangzhou, which I found pleasantly surprising as I have some memories in this lovely city over my childhood and adolescent period. The two male characters appeared as the main character's good friends I love their energies especially the scenes when we were drinking at the balcony, true bro times. The only thing I could complain about in this game is perhaps too many girls, although you can see most FMV games now have six chapters, this one has seven which is nice and longer, but it could still barely hold up all the female character's storylines. Clearly there are some characters had shorter storylines, but perhaps it has its own reason (no spoiler). My recommendation is to perhaps lockdown 4, maximum 5 female characters, with 7-8 chapters, and just price the game at a higher pricing point. If your storyline and character development make sense throughout the gameplay, the female characters are attractive and acting skills are on par, it will certainly be one of the best FMV game. Overall, a fantastic game! *My favourite female in this game is definitely Song Jing
