Game is fun, for the most part, you can 100% complete the game solo, even achievements. The issue with the game is that solo part of it is just for grinding to get better to play the multiplier, as the multiplier is the base meat and bones of the whole game, that is where you go AFTER doing all the solo stuff. Issue with that is back in the day when the game released here there was hardly anybody playing, thus you couldn't get a match going of even 3V3, today the game is bugged and you can't even host a game and wait for people as it will crash to the desktop the moment you do so, there is a mod to fix that, and you can find groups to play with, however you will playing against The vets of the game. If your looking for a game that is fun to play for a while and just want to focus on the solo stuff, It's good however it'll only give you maybe 25-30 hours of gameplay, and once you beat Venus cup that's it for challenges - most of your time in the end will be grinding out points to level up cards for the achievements... you can do 100% if you wish, but that depends on your level of patients with this genres reputation of repetition - it's boring fast. Anyways I had fun on the Playstation version and this one I'm finishing up achievements before baring it in my backlog forever. I'll recommend it but it's your call.
i have such nostalgic memories of playing this game with my boyfriend back when it first came out on steam. i don't think i would recommend it if you don't already have a dedicated friend or two to play with since other ppl are saying the online community is dead in recent reviews. i haven't played it in years now, but i felt compelled to speak about how i suddenly remembered all the fun we had together. it is one of those games that feels a bit lame to play alone (even tho i remember the single player story was "fine") but with a friend it suddenly becomes soo much fun. since im a girl (ew) who likes girly things but also likes girls, like LIKES girls, i guess it's also targets me with a good combination of ecchi weaboo trash full of silly anime tiddy and a basic multiplayer pew pew game with a CUTE n FUN DRESS UP system tacked on. not a cheap one either (there are unlockable dressup items in singleplayer mode but most of them come from the expensive DLC), but IIRC it was my boyfriend gifted it to me with the DLC during a big sale at the time.

Personal Rating: Mostly Positive (75%) I played PBS for a small bit before starting EV, and EV is clearly a better game of those two. While PBS still has quite a lot of fan-service, you can tell a bit that the devs were already holding back themselves on it. There are some spicy moments, but they are toned down a small bit. Definitely still nude, but not as aggressive as EV took it. The gameplay was a hit-or-miss for me, I found it playable, but really janky. There are some moves that look visually cool, but you never use them, because they just aren't memorable. Also aiming on a controller is just bad. I would just wait for a sale when it is for 10€, because then it's worth it.
