I could never find any of these types of games without the use of AI. I first saw this game being played by TheHotCross on youtube, and, him being anti-ai, decided to look it up. When I saw that the Devs realized there were AI assets, and REMOVED them, I was sold. at 4.79$ on sale, this game more than pays for itself. Cute art, soothing music, and fun gameplay. You can buy upgrades to sort things easier and carry more things, the items are unique and fun to look at. There's three levels, and I'm on the first one still, but I'm having so much fun. It's such a calming, relaxing game, perfect to kick back on a weekend and settle in for some sorting. Thanks Devs, for making something without AI, and for putting so much care into a cute, fun game.

It's cute, it's fun, it has an AI tapestry :/ EDIT: HAD AI, but the developer cleared it up :D

A fantastic organization game! I LOVE that it's not just books but an entire shop of fantasy-inspired, funky items with funny names. I like the options for casual or timed mode. I'm more of a casual fan myself, but it's nice to know that if I ever wanted the challenge, the option is there. Also, the option to have no powers at all or all the powers at max from the beginning seems fun (I want to finish all three shops before trying new things). The music is super relaxing and I can lose myself for hours organizing and reorganizing the shelves. Truly another fantastic ultra-cozy game by this dev! Also, for those who care, it is AI free :)

Welcome to the latest Library-Like Autism Enjoyment simulators, this one by the developer behind Teddy's Haven. Like Library, you start with a big pile of jumbled items on the floor and you have to sort them on to their correct shelves. All the main stays of the Library-Like games are here with the bonus of brightly coloured items like a jazzed up World of Warcraft auction house, the game features 4 modes and 3 different shops all for a very low price. A worthwhile investment into your mental health managment.

I was mostly excited for this game as an opportunity to support the dev, who is incredibly active working on their other game, Teddy's Haven. I do enjoy these new "sorting shop" games, but I wasn't expecting this to be much different from the other five million versions that have launched in the past few weeks. And while this isn't any different in its core concept, it is so polished compared to those other five million that I really believe it deserves a recommendation on its own. Pros - Launched with multiple maps with varying layouts and settings. The first is smaller than the genre standard, but the other two are notably larger. - Each map has challenge versions. I likely won't try them, but it's nice for people who enjoy a more competitive aspect. - The art style, borrowed from the dev's other game, is bright, beautiful, and most importantly, cohesive. It does not feel like an asset flip with a random AI generated skin on top. - You can rebind all the keys and there are lots of graphics options. Check the graphics when you first load in, as the defaults were quite low compared to what my PC can handle. It looks great either way due to the highly stylized textures. - Less than $6 CAD and it isn't a blatant cash grab. Cons - The text is tiny, which is an issue I have with Teddy's Haven as well. Maybe it's my monitor. It's really not a big deal and doesn't impact the vast majority of what you'll do in the game. - I had one bug, the first item I picked up was stuck in my hand despite me placing it down. Quitting to the main menu reset it and it never happened again. Not a Pro or a Con - It's a lot easier than, say, Tidy Up The Arcane Library, because it's very obvious where each object goes. There are signs, and you just can't place items in the wrong areas. More of a zone out and relax game than one where you need to use your brain to any capacity. Not a negative to me, but if you want an innate challenge, the normal modes don't offer that. TL;DR If you're a fan of this budding genre or just sorting things in general, I highly recommend Shelves and Sorcery. It'll give you a few hours of fun, maybe even more than a few if you decide to take on the challenge versions.
