I've been playing this game over and over again for nearly 10 years. It's become a major comfort game for me. It's got extremely casual, low-stakes farming and exploration based gameplay. There's something very therapeutic about roaming around sucking things up and taking care of cute bouncy slimes. What's even better, underneath the adorable graphics and ranching grind are subtle but beautifully told stories surrounding the characters you're introduced to, including the character you play as. I'd give anything to experience this game for the first time again.
Pure joy and happiness, there are no words to describe my feelings about this game. I love the lore, the gameplay, the characters, the mechanics, the huge amount of posibilities.. I've past wonderful days in the Far, Far Range.. Since the gameplays I used to watch, the first times playing it, and finally, the addition to my library to honor my history with the game. On my way to 100% it again, now here in Steam, and I still owe a lot to those slimes..
A classic first‑person sandbox farm sim, u can spot its vibe in loads of games even now. Early n mid game slap with slime breedin, map explorin n base buildin, jst the late game gets way too samey. its a 9‑year‑old game, so many systems feel old school these days. grab a few mods n the whole thing plays way smoother.
