The best snake game ever made. I mean, you actually must use locomotion to move faster... brilliant. This is one of those games I can see myself playing for a long time, in short bursts, a "one run a day" kinda game. The challenge lies in your ability to use the physics of a snake to reach collectibles in hard-to-reach locations. It's also fun to say "I'm a sssssnakkkke" while you play. (if you don't know the meme I recommend you look it up before you play) People who whine in the reviews about the difficult controls, it's like bruh, you think being a snake is just easy-peasy? Nah bruh, snake require finesse. That said, I imagine if you try to play this on a keyboard you will want to punch your own mother for having raised you so poorly that you make such decisions. I will absolutely 100% this game. Edit: I did 100% the game. Top collectathon! Highly recommended!
--- Played through Steam Family sharing (in my lib, but from the other member's account), took us ~24hrs --- Very unique and clever play-style! Controlling the snake is extremely funny and challenging along with the other mechanics! It gets difficult enough in the later stages. Also the graphics are super sweet! Controller really makes total sense for this game!!!
Fun game, best played in moderation. Initial clash with the very unusual control scheme may be a bit of a shock. It's an odd game. Takes a bit of getting used to. At first I had no clue what I was doing. My hands were lost and my poor snake kept falling off of things into its demise. After playing it for a while I still had no clue what I was doing. But my hands? Oh man, my hands sure knew. Obstacles that were once impossible became second nature and my snake was slithering through the levels at a brisk pace. The only thing holding Snake Pass back is that there's not all that much variety to it. The levels start feeling repetitive if you just binge them. It's a great game to boot up and play a level or two, but not something that works for a multi-hour session.
