✅ Positive Features : 1-The game offers a strong focus on authentic sniper experiences, including bullet drop, wind direction, breathing control, and distance calculation. It’s satisfying for fans of precision shooting. 2-Each mission takes place in a semi-open world map, allowing players to approach objectives from multiple angles. You can plan your route, use vantage points, and choose your method—stealth or aggression. 3-Missions have optional challenges, collectibles, encouraging players to replay contracts and improve their performance. 4-The AR Mask high-tech helmet with augmented reality features, helping the player gather intelligence and navigate the environment more effectively . like Enemy Detection , Object Scanning , Tagging System , Environmental Analysis & Displays information like bullet trajectory predictions, distances to targets, and wind direction when sniping (when upgraded). 5-The game includes various high-tech tools and gadgets, like drone, remotely-controlled snipe turret , Decoy Trap , Warning Device , grenades and mines 6-the Interrogate System allows players to gather valuable information from enemy soldiers during missions 7-The Bounty System optional high-value targets that players can eliminate for bonus rewards. 8-Completing contracts earns money and tokens that can be used to unlock new weapons, customize gear, and upgrade your character’s abilities. ❌ Negative Features : 1-Weak and Uninspired Story 2-Enemy AI sometimes overly alert and other times completely unaware. 3-The stealth system is serviceable but not as refined or flexible as in other stealth-based games like Hitman or Metal Gear Solid. 4-useless tools like C4 & Mines 5-Many contracts follow similar patterns, reducing variety 6-Multiplayer is currently disabled and cannot be accessed or reactivated. Differences Between SGWC1 and Earlier games in the Series: 1-Gameplay : SGWC1 uses a mission-based structure with semi-open sandbox maps. Each mission (called a "contract") is set in a separate, detailed area. Earlier games (like Sniper Ghost Warrior 3) featured a fully open world, but were criticized for being too empty or buggy. 2-Stealth and Strategy: SGWC1 focuses more heavily on stealth, careful planning, and tactical decision-making. Previous titles were more linear or tried to mix open-world elements with traditional shooter gameplay. 3-Customization and Tools: SGWC1 introduced more customizable gear like masks with special abilities, drones, and advanced gadgets. Earlier games had more limited equipment and fewer strategic tools. 4-Map Design: The levels in SGWC1 are dense, replayable, and encourage exploration. Earlier entries often had more linear paths or less detailed open worlds.

I do recommend this game as it scratches a fantastic sniping itch that the likes of Sniper Elite have made famous. To my mind, the game excels in two key areas: 1) The sniping is fantastic; there is a little skill involved with the wind gauge but it isn't hard to master yet it feels great right up to the last shot. 2) The level design is intricate enough to allow multiple paths to your objective so it makes you feel more like a smart assassin, planning the kill, rather than a linear assassin (doing what the game tells you). There were one or two bugs in my play-through but nothing extreme and certainly nothing that took me out of the experience. Lastly, I would counter some of the "angry" reviews that comment on how poor the AI is and that it "immediately knows where you are when you shoot". That is simply not the case. The enemies have three states of existence: passive, alerted, hunting. Passive is the default state where they will wander around "guarding". Now, if you take an enemy out from range but someone sees them die or discovers the body, the enemy will become alerted and they will all run for cover. In this state, they get out binoculars and intermittently peak over their cover to try to locate you. If you can kill them all without being spotted, they will simply never shoot you and if you are placed well, you can wipe them all out whilst they are alerted. Now, if you are spotted (by binoculars or, more likely, enemy snipers) then they will all converge on your position to try and kill you. The armoured enemies will start shooting in your general direction and whilst it might feel that they have godly aim, they don't and you can easily reposition. This is where I would then actively turn to defence to praise because, if you reposition, the enemy will converge on the spot they last knew you to be in and you can effectively give them the slip and start shooting from another location. All in all, if you set up well, know your routes of retreat and advance, and fully scan the target zone then you'll have a blast in this game and feel like a god-tier sniper.

I bought the game on sale awhile back after reading the reviews, which were good on the whole, but with the negatives I wasn't expecting too much. It actually turned out to be a lot better than I was expecting, and I've enjoyed playing it. Don't regret buying it for a moment. I know it's been review-bombed recently, and this is mainly for three reasons caused by an update: Firstly, the main reason is that people's progress has been reset. That definitely sucks, and is going to sting some players more than others, especially completionists near the end, but for anyone buying the game new, this is going to be a non-factor. Secondly, Multiplayer has been removed. I hadn't played multiplayer so can't really say anything about that, but for me it was a single-player game all the way. Other's mileage may vary. Thirdly, they put in a texture pack (apparently), which isn't optional and is fairly big in size. If you have alot of disk space, you'll be shrugging, but the folder size for the game is now about 38gb, fwiw. Seems fine to me for a game these days. (one other small complaint I heard in a review was how it's not going to run well even on a 4090.. I'm on an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT playing at 1440p on an Ultrawide monitor, max settings, and capped it at 60fps because I'm not as competitive in my old age.. it didn't once stutter or drop below 60. No idea if it would sit at 120+, didn't try.) So moving on, there are five, large maps which are very well thought out and look great. It's up to you which order you want to do objectives in, and every area/base has a multitude of options.. multiple good sniper spots, usually a nice handful of alternative ways in, or of course the front door. There seems to have been alot of consideration into enemy placement and patrol routes. I will say this though, and I don't blame the level design so much as the sometimes janky movement/engine, but sometimes you'd get foiled by some small rubble on the ground while trying to sneak on an enemy, or try to use a ladder quietly and end up having to jump off, making a lot of noise. Btw, if you get stuck on terrain, try switching weapons, for some reason that seems to have worked for me the few times I was stuck. I won't go much into the gameplay, it's a sniper game where stealth and infiltration are just as good an option, so no surprises there. Just don't do what I did and go through half the game before realising you can customise your weapons from the Loadout screen.. I was using the starting sniper for quite awhile because most of the others weren't silenced by default ;_; In my defense, I wasn't really paying attention to the buttons displayed at the bottom of the screen! In regards to the difficulty, I felt it was quite forgiving, even on the hardest difficulty (which you can change on the fly if you like). This is mainly due to the hi-tech gear you're kitted out with. Once you upgrade it and get a heavier rifle, it does tend to trivialise things a bit. Being able to auto-tag nearby enemies with an extended range, and show their outlines, is pretty OP. If you don't want stuff like this, I hope you have more willpower than me.. it's hard to do when the option's there. Also, the rifle scope shows you where you need to aim to account for wind over distance, which makes that aspect very easy. I couldn't find a way to turn that off.. it doesn't mean there isn't a way, I just didn't find it. Didn't look too hard though :) So to end, for a new player the value is going to depend on your budget, but on sale I felt it was a great buy. The most important part is that I enjoyed it and will go on to buy more in the franchise. It's got a lot of little bugs, and it feels like some of the systems are probably in place as a late-development fix to some problem or other, which is why they don't always seem to make sense, but I can live with it.

See, this is pretty relax chillax kind of game. Don't expect too much but, graphics are beautiful, story is lame but different strategies you could use to get things done are pretty massive. Its very close to realistic level I would say. I had to tone it down all the way the easy difficulty level because I am a damn 37 year old married with a child dude and I got no time to grind through the missions. That's the one part I hate about this game. You can not stop anywhere and save the game and start again. Otherwise, if you got free time, go for it.

The game itself is pretty good. It gives enough variety for the player to try each mission in different strategies. You have plenty of sniper rifles to choose from, the rifles are rarely used, unless you're really bad at stealth and want to just to go loud all the time, and the pistols are quite questionable, since there are only 2-3 of them that have silencers. The missions themselves are pretty good too, each one having different scenarios that force you to adapt to different situations. I also like the dynamics in each mission: the fact you can fast travel, different instances that do not interact with each other when one is alerted, unique bounty targets, collectibles which give a nice spice to the lore of game. The only thing that I am really annoyed about this game, is that there are lots of tiny bugs that ruin the experience. Being a game developer myself, I noticed at least 10 bugs, and another one at the clip after the last mission (I ain't going to spoil it, since it's pretty noticeable. I'm warning you, once you see it, you cannot un-see it). Here are a few of the bugs that I have noticed, and I hope that the team will maybe do something about it (or hire me to fix them, who knows, LOL): - Body slamming a guard while being a drone will somehow kill the guard and tackle you to the ground for no reason - Hacked turrets can sometimes still detect you, but won't shoot you - Interrogating bounty targets can sometimes give you a basic dialogue instead of the unique dialogue assigned for each bounty target in this game (like the one that you have when you interrogate a normal guard) - The sniping turret sometimes just doesn't correctly shoot the target, despite being at a short range, which is EXTREMELY ANNOYING, since the gadget is theoretically supposed to give you an edge in each mission - Shooting certain parts of vehicles that make them explode don't actually explode unless you're in a specific range, which is also very questionable - Some animations in the second mission when you're planting the explosives are just... weird. It's non-fluid, it feels like something it's supposed to happen, but nothing is happening ... and many other bugs that I have discovered in my first 50 hours of playing. I don't know if I'm being too critical or if those bugs are too noticeable. It feels like the developers have rushed to get the final touches done but instead they managed to mess the game up. Overall, the game is good. It's got potential, you do feel like a cool sniper hired by some anonymous group that assigns you different contracts to assasinate, you have variety in play style, and you can make some sick plays if you really want to show off on YouTube LOL. It's a shame that when spending a few hours in the game you'll notice the bugs and ruin the game experience,
