Easily one of the best Sonic games I've ever played bundled with easily one of the best Sonic games I've ever played. Price is a biiit much but it's usually what I pay for crack anyway and both of these games are a comparable experience.

This is no longer a Sonic game with a Shadow DLC. Its a Shadow game with Sonic DLC

Best 3D Sonic so far. The Shadow Generations level design has improved so much compared to Generations.

shadow generations is so fun all the way through, I just wish there was more. it's probably the best 3D sonic game outside of the adventure series. it's worth keeping in mind that this isn't sonic generations with extra content - this is a launcher for two separate games. they have different settings/options, different framerate limits, and different controls. when choosing sonic generations in the main menu the game briefly closes and re-opens. if you haven't played either game i recommend sonic generations first because if you play shadow first, sonic will feel pretty clunky at times, and the level design is sometimes a downgrade. level restart is instant in shadow, and but it has to load in sonic. there have been basically no quality of life changes to sonic generations, which i would've liked to see. i've played through generations before, so i played shadow first. when i went back to replay generations i found myself getting much more frustrated than i ever did on my first playthrough, wishing it controlled and played more like shadow. but it's still a fantastic game!!!
