My late sister and I played this game for years. We didn't bother with the story, spending all of our time in the Chao Garden. This is an awesome game! The controls and camera angles are a little weird to get used to but I love the levels in this game! It also contains one of the coolest themes in my opinion: "Don't Stop, Just Go!" which is the theme for the level Green Forest.
Great game, but unfortunately, this version isn't that good. It needs a proper remaster. I recommend modding it. My modlist in order: SA2 Render Fix, SASDL, SA2 Input Controls, Dreamcast Characters (no more weird eyed Sonic when beating the level), Better Radar, HD GUI for SA2, Dreamcast Boss Textures, Enhanced City Escape, HedgePanel (Fast somersault), Partial DC Fog Restoration (delete files for Pyramid Cave, it's too dark), PrisonL Fog Restore, SA2 Error Msg Fixes, SA2 Volume Controls (it isn't perfect, cutscenes are still mid badly mixed), Sonic New Tricks (Instant spindash and remapping), Rogue's eye animation Fix, Idle Chatter, Discord Rich Presence, Oddity Patch, Tikal Anim Fix, Menu Overhaul, Minimal Pickup Fix, Oddity Patch 2: Electric Boogaloo, Dreamcast Ghost Room, Dreamcast Mech Grunts, E0022 After Knuckles VS.
