I like this game. It's like the rough rock that you could see the potential it had. I wish that it had gotten the budget and attention that say: Warcraft 3 had gotten and I think it would be much better known today.

From reading online and a few of the other Steam reviews, it's clear that with this game you "get it if you get it". And I don't, lol. I love RPGs and I enjoy RTS's. But my time with this game made me feel like it would have been better focused on one genre. As the saying goes...you can't ride two horses with one ass. I also really struggled with the "hero" aspect, maybe because I've never played League of Legends or those types of games. Also, the difficulty is crazy. On Easy, I was facing non-stop armies. I would have a small handful of soldiers while the enemy would have siege weapons, horses, etc. Still, leaving a positive review because it's not a bad game. I think it's just not for me.

This game deserves much better reviews, at least 85-90% Game starts slow, but its just pretty big tutorial, just wait until Global map becomes available, its about 1-2h through. Game itself feels like if Dragon Age (the good one) took a bit of "Warcraft" (RTS) into it. I would call it "RPG-RTS" You have your party (4 at a time), each hero has 1 unique tree of abilities and 2 "generic" ones, attributes and equipment. Equipment 99% of time you get through quests and from map chests/secrets. Game has, basically, two types of levels: - "Only heroes" - you go through the map, do quests etc with only party of your heroes - "RTS" - you have your party & whole map of typical RTS stuff - build bases, defeat enemies So the game goes: you go to location, do quests, figure out stuff, sometimes you have to "RTS" the level, sometimes "RPG" the level, sometimes both, then choose next level & again. It is super engaging and if you liked "Kenshi" and games like that - would highly recommend to try this one out.

I wont give this game negative review due to the sheer amount of effort and love you can tell went into this game, however that being said I consider myself a seasoned RTS and Strategy game enthusiast and some of the missions are damn near impossible on hard difficulty. The AI cheats, never runs out of resources and has hordes of elite units roaming the map even when you cut off their supply lines. The storytelling is absolutely amazing and engaging but you have to be a complete SADIST to complete this game on hard or above.
