game is dead, but the bots arent half bad and there is usually still a single digit number of people playing at minimum. I like the maps a lot more than verdun, but damn the swaying of the guns in this game is too much for me. I understand its unrealistic for a person to be able to hold a rifle without even a millimeter of movement when aimed in with iron sights, but its a game, and no other game ive played so far has this mechanic....and even if they do, the swaying isnt as bad. just my two cents. i still recommend the game as its not bad as a game, just wish there were more players like verdun or isonzo.

Verdun for the Eastern Front, one of my favorite WW1 Multiplayer shooters.

A simple WW1 game in the eastern front. It has some awesome elements of the trench warfare, especially the thing that enemies are killed by one shot most of the time. The battles are mostly tactical, mixed Players and NPCies, which is great as the playerbase isn't big. The biggest amount of players i played with was around 60, but majority of them are really good seasoned players who have mastered all the maps, have their favorite camping spots and thrive to have the most kills in the game. Though those tryhards are annoying, i can't describe the joy when you finally find their sniping spot and kill them, or when you find your own sniping spot and keep killing other teams players, just to be found by another tryhard, so the cycle continues. Really fun game, there's also a progression system of some kind, but what i really play it for is the joy of pushing the front further, following the commands, running for a trench, to capture that tactical point on a hill. Then defending that point for the entirety of the game solo (because the NPCs just don't understand defending i guess), feeling like a war hero. You can experience some great moments in this game, and for the sale price, it's a shame to not try this game. Note that this is just the Eastern front, so if you want to fight in other battle maps, check out other games from the developer, though they are mostly the same, just the maps are different.

Now this, THIS IS MASTERPIECE. They managed to make it fun. I know why they make verdun a tug of war and this a skirmish gameplay. But they should've done something interesting and fun in verdun because it really feels lazy there. The map here is not linear, There are different objective or sector that you can take or flank to. The Gunplay is again impressive. There are a lot of interesting guns to choose from, they're as unique as verdun. 7/10

Look, hardly anyone plays this game, but if you want some mindless fun against bots using a challenge to run around with a sword as a Russian in the woods while they shoot inaccurately at you... Get it on sale
