Update : Mild recommend - some frustrating bugs / features Examples of things that irk me in this game : - Pedestrians are so broken. They walk on the sidewalk towards the road with no intention of crossing, sometimes after crossing they turn around and cross back (who does that in real life ? I have never seen this), and if they bump into you, you get punished and the current taxi client is cancelled. Sometimes, you have to park on the sidewalk and they just walk through your parking location. Their behaviour is honestly so frustrating. -There's a bug where, if you go into a garage, and fix your car, it spends the money and fixes it, but if you go to the customize page it resets back to you broken car, and you have to pay again... -In your business, at the begining of sending a driver do their work, it's not clear what they're currently up to and what your costs will be and stuff. I feel like the screens are missing some info. Things the game does well : - A city driving simulator. The car driving is very detailed and immersive, with a supported driving wheel, the game is really fun and feels like driving (not all advertised supported wheels are actually supported though) - Taxi clients encourage you to drive carefully and respect the law with the patience bar. Some clients ask you to ignore speed limitations for more money. Outside of taxiing, you can drive as badly as you want, you might get a little fined but that's it - Some NPCS drive like doorhandles, just like in real life. Helps with the realism. - There's police that can fine you if you make accidents while they can see you. There's also a "call police" button that despawns cars around you (which is especially useful when ppl drive like idiots) - The city is nicely varied in speeds and road sizes. ---------- Old review : Not recommended (for now) - no real steering wheel support Taxi Life advertises a list of supported steering wheels, but in reality it doesn’t really work. The game ignores the driver calibration, and there are no options at all for sensitivity, calibration, or deadzones. My wheel works perfectly in Euro Truck Simulator 2, but here it constantly pulls to the side and the pedals don’t register correctly. I’ve spent more than five hours trying to make it work (incl. tinkering a lot with the wheel's drivers, restarting, etc.), filed a bug report with no answer, and only got a very generic reply on Discord. It’s really frustrating, because the rest of the game is well made: the car simulation is detailed and driving safely in tight city streets is the whole point, which could be really fun. Until the developers add proper wheel support, I can’t recommend the game.

as a girly with autism who loves driving simulators this is the perfect simulation game. i’ve had this game since release on xbox then decided to get it on my PC and a lot has come into to it since the start. the realism in this game is really good and i can play hours! Only dislike and bad side is the NPCS walking in the road at random moments )): it can be quite annoying. Also for your employees it can sometimes interfere with your money making depending on the cons of the driver and i’ve had a few times where the graphics on the wind mirror and mirror glitch out which could be fixed but rather than that no issues from me! . Game has good potential, hoping for more updates and features added :))

Hello players & developers. If you're looking to purchase this game beware there is a few bugs, they're not major bugs however it can effect the game slightly. I would recommend this to people who have tolerance for small issues since I have had a great time on this game and I have been really enjoying it. For the developers and people who are interested, here is a few issues and recommendations. 1. Pedestrians are reckless and cross the road without any sense which can lead to you losing your job which can be frustrating. 2. On the Logitech G29, I am not sure if it is with all other wheels, when you first load up the game, it takes a minute or two to register the wheel is plugged in, sometimes not at all so I have to re-calibrate it. 3. I feel like when you go over the speed limit there should be a little beeping sound as a safety measure, like in a lot of modern vehicles. 4. You should add walking like in The Bus, Tourist bus sim & Bus Sim 21 to give a more realistic feel to the game. That's that. I hope you found this review helpful!
