It's nuking good! Very compelling story and well voice acted. I actually played the first couple of chapters when the early versions were available on the AGS community some years ago but now in this final form, it's got stylish visuals and sounds great too. The puzzles are fairly straightforward and doesn't take much time for point and click veterans but the major appeal for me is the writing and world building. A well thought out game.

I really enjoyed the first half of this game but it hits a lot of the usual problems that narratively ambitious point and click games do when they get into the third act — the exploration and puzzle solving starts to become less and less of a focus until by the end you're basically just arbitrarily clicking around to try and progress through a bunch of cutscenes. Like I said, this is pretty common in a lot of adventure games but usually they only take away player agency for a scene or two to deliver a cinematic ending; in Technobabylon I found it with entire chapters towards the end, which was quite frustrating! That said, I still think the overall quality of the game makes it worth playing. There's some really interesting and fun puzzles in the first half and the writing of the characters is compelling throughout, even if the overall storytelling isn't quite so successful. I just wish they'd applied the same amount of polish to the finale as they did to other parts of the game as it was a bit of a sour note to end on.

A very fun puzzle game with big themes about AI and technology. Had a very creative world building and just generally a good time!

One of the best modern adventure games. If this had been released in the 90's it would have been regarded amongst the Broken Sword/Monkey Island level of reverence.

What I enjoyed: - The lovely cyberpunk story - Beautiful pixel artwork, good voice acting and music What I did not enjoy: - The puzzles are way too difficult most of the time. I had to use a walkthrough on multiple occasions - That annoying Stepford character. "Oh my, yes!" So would I recommend this? If you care more about the story than the puzzles (and like cyberpunk), then yes. It was a decent story, but by all means keep the walkthrough at hand. If you care more about gameplay than stories, then I can't recommend it.
