The game and style is really good, but what I hate is that constant pressure of time. Instead of walking and watching and fighting for survival all I do is running like maniac around the planet just to extract some resources and trying to complete task before it is too late. Which you realize sooner or later and dealing with alters in during the magnetic storm what they want to eat? Really? ... Then you have literally a couple of minutes before you get burned but hey everyone wants to talk or the game send you a warning message, that you will don't know some of their stories. Like I care when I have burning sun behind my back. I dunno. If you love to be in constant pressure, go for it. I am giving positive review, but I am really starting to get more frustrated rather than enjoying the game and I don't want to be running around just to have everything prepared in time ... I'm giving thumbs up for the creativity and to support games like this. Maybe lowering difficulty will fix it? I am in ACT 2 and I think this will be even more challenging now. Definitely not a chill game ...

Kind of DEATH STRANDING meets SOMA meets the Swapper meets Mickey 17 meets Detroit: Become Human, but with its own unique flair. It's not exactly like any of those, but somehow it feels like it fits right next to those other stories. I'm not very far into the game but I like everything about it so far, even though it feels like I'm struggling a little with some of the base building/maintence which isn't quite as intuitive as I thought it would be. However, once I have a hang of it I'm sure it'll just be a PEBCAK issue. Edit: I missed the memo I had to actual work to gather organics. PEBCAK for sure. Worth checking out, that's for sure! Edit after 9 hours or something: I like the game a lot. Mechanics are somewhat similar to DEATH STRANDING at time, similar building concepts. Movements/gathering reminds me of it as well. Story line is unique, similar again to the games I've listed, and engaging enough to stay interested. Jan is dry, angry, and suspicious of things that are happening around him, but also is determined. I like his character so far to stay invested with him. The Alter concept, no spoilers as much as I can, reminds me of Detroit: Become Human with its branches. I have no idea how my choices affect what's going to happen yet, but I like the way it's displayed. Edit after 13 hours or something: I think the game fucked with me. I'm not sure. I didn't save scum alright I had to leave, and it popped up this little message that implied I had done it on purpose and I swear the Alter I was talking to got more frustrated with me the second time around in case I tried and changed my responses. Mhm. I see you. Very cool, haha. Could be paranoia, but thanks for the guilt trip anyway! 10/10 It's fun, is that good enough haha?

I love the game but the TIMER RUINS THE GAME. No one wants to feel rushed not even in real life whoever made that idea to have a timer does not need to be apart of any other exploration game. Its a survival game not need for speed racing.

Well. Do I recommend it? Yes, 100% Am I going to finish it myself? Probably not. The great example of amazing game that just not my thing. So here is some info for you to decide: 1. It's not a sandbox. 2. It's heavily story driven. Based on mentioned above, it's less about strategy and management, but more about executing proper sequence that fits narrative. Don't get me wrong, it's NOT a bad thing. It's just to make a decition, is it your type of game or not.

I just finished the prologue, and wow this is a gem. It is wild to see a game with graphics this good run this well. That almost never happens anymore. The story is fascinating and explores cool themes that make you think. The gameplay loop and concept are really unique. The music and sound design are immersive. 11 bit really knocked it out of the park with this one. So far I am blown away.
