It's alright. It's the game that gave Wadjet Eye the jumpstart to start making and publishing great point & clicks, and that is its main accomplishment. It's now been out-done by many games since released but it was an enjoyable time. It's definitely not the one I'd recommend if someone asked me what Wadjet Eye Game to start on, though.
I enjoyed this game. Yes, it’s short and feels more like an introductory chapter, but every character you meet is interesting, well voice-acted, and memorable. I found myself invested in the story, and it reminded me of the old TV show Randall and Hopkirk. There are only a few light puzzles, but I found some of them confusing, particularly the notebook connection mechanic. At one point I became stuck and couldn’t progress because I had missed clicking on a line of dialogue earlier in the game, so I eventually had to look up a guide. Even so, I’m looking forward to continuing the game and seeing how both the story and characters develop.
