An all-around improvement of the first game. The story is delightful, Agatha is a really fun protagonist, and with more puzzles and a longer run-time, the side-characters get more time for themselves as well. I can recommend the game purely off of that alone, since the story and writing are the main draw here, and they're pretty consistently good. The puzzles, for the most part, were pretty fun too, even if not particularly difficult. The only frustration I had was in the way the map is structured as a hallway that only loops one way, which means you end up having to do a lot of running back and forth for no reason. The game would have benefitted from either slightly tighter map design or some more opportunities for fast travel, just to cut down on the tedium in places. But yeah, I had fun. The game goes for pretty damn cheap, especially on sale, so give it a try if it seems interesting. I can recommend it.
I loved this game as I love games like sally face, little misfortune, franbow, etc. and this game reminds me a lot of those. It was fun to solve the puzzles, they weren't super easy to solve but they also didn't feel impossible. The storyline and story telling of this game was perfect and I haven't seen another like it, Its oddly unsettling yet you want to keep playing to learn more and see where the story takes you. I love the characters and listening to and building a connection. I would definitely recommend this game, its worth the money and even worth multiple play throughs.
Estoy aprendiendo español y pensé que sería una buena idea jugar algo fácil. Por supuesto, jugué a Agatha Knife en español. Creo que es un videojuego único, porque combina la forma infantil en que Agatha ve el mundo con un humor para adultos y con cosas bastante crueles que ocurren a su alrededor. Por eso, si eres adulto, no te aburrirás jugando a este asombroso juego. Hablando de mí, Agatha Knife es el primer videojuego que jugué en español. Me ayudó a aprender nuevas palabras y gramática. ¡Te recomiendo que lo pruebes si no lo has jugado!
I really enjoyed this creepy cute game! I tend to go more for indie games with cute graphics. This fit the bill and had a creepy story line so I really enjoyed it. I did beat it in 8 hours with 86% complete, but there is a second run through option. I will maybe play again and shoot for the 100% completion. For a few bucks, I am happy with it. The creator seems to have some other similar styled games as well.
