Bought all 3 house of Da vinci games during a sale. If you do like puzzle games, I would recommend giving it a try, especially on discount. However, I do have a few things to say about the game. I came upon this series when I was looking for more similar puzzle games after completing the room series. As expected, it did resemble the room in a lot of ways. It has a great story, good worldbuilding, excellent theming and aesthetics to boot. The puzzles aren't too difficult, there are a handful of challenging puzzles but the main reason you'll get stuck 70% of the time is because of "oh you need to do/have this seemingly unrelated puzzle/object to do another puzzle". This problem is pretty common in puzzles games like these, so it isn't that unusual. It's worse than room in this regard but definitely not as bad as Myst. There are also hints which are toggled on by default in case you ever get stuck. Another issue I have with the game would be the achievements. There isn't much replay value so if you're a completionist, going for 100% after a blind run isn't going to be very interesting. Some of the achievements specifically, require you to complete all requirements in a single run. E.g the diary entries and sketches. So if you plan to 100% this on a second playthrough, you'll need to be quite careful about missing anything or you'll have to do it for a 3rd or 4th time. Its going to feel like a chore more than an accomplishment. The speedrun achievements are not much better. While you don't have to care about diary achievements, its just redoing the puzzles at a faster pace. In conclusion: If you like puzzles and have exhausted other games, give this a try, especially if on sale. But if you're an achievement completionist, do be aware that you're going to have to replay it if you do a blind run first and that it'll feel like a chore.

I have played all of the House of Da Vinci games and have enjoyed each one. I just finished this game and had to review. I love puzzle games, and this one feels like an actual computer game, not a cheap phone game that also sells on steam, like many others do, This series has given me about 8-9 hours of game each installment, and I have never felt so sad beating a game. The levels were at your own pace and while challenging not to hard, beautifully animated, and always fun! I cannot wait for the Tesla series to come out, keep it going Devs your on a roll and I'm a huge fan!!!

A good puzzle games similar to the likes of The Room series. The puzzles and level design are good with enough complexity most of the time to be challenging. No solutions felt illogical or impossible to arrive to/find. And the hint system was good at progressively giving more detail without flat out spoiling the solution until the very last clue. I look forward to the next game being developed by this group.
