It is extremly short. I liked it - walking simulation and exploration. I have not encauntered any bugs. It is good game for easy evening. I recommend it.

This is what I consider to be in the real 'Goldilocks' zone of narrative adventure games ("walking sims"). For every second of the two-hour play time, you have something interesting to do. The environments throughout the station are all distinctive and excellently realized, and there is never any doubt of where you should go next despite a relatively light amount of guidance and hand-holding. That alone is an incredible feat of level design. I have a terrible sense of direction. The in-game map does you the kindness of implicitly showing you which doors you can enter, which you have already entered, and those that you cannot open just yet. And this came out a year before RE2 remake, a game that was lauded for its extremely similar map design. One of the best things that a narrative adventure game can do is make you feel close to characters that you never actually meet. Games like Gone Home, SOMA, and What Remains of Edith Finch are the best in class at this, and The Station is right up there with them. At a brisk 120 minutes, they do not inundate you with too many characters. There are three people that were aboard this station, and by the end, I had a good sense of who they all were as people and I was genuinely invested in their stories. The game also does a fantastic job of fleshing out the world of its story with tactful usage of audio logs, written documents, and environmental storytelling. The company that dispatched the station on its mission clearly had its own motives, and the three characters all had their own reasons for signing up. And yet, as is sometimes a danger with more indulgent narrative adventures, I never felt hindered or bogged down by an obligation to sit and listen to an extensive audio log or to read through pages and pages of documents. There is no waste here. They do not overwhelm you with things to read, and everything is worth reading. I'm a firm believer that any good narrative adventure should have some element of puzzle-solving, and The Station does not disappoint in that regard. This is not Myst, but there are three or four excellently designed puzzles that will not take you hours to solve while also making you feel pretty clever once you figure them out. Again, they nailed the sweet spot between overly-complicated and overly-simplistic. The designers of this game knew exactly what they were doing. I especially loved the puzzles in the Engineering Bay and in Silas' quarters. They both put a big dumb smile on my face. Regarding the story, I thought that I had figured out where this was going within the first two minutes of launching the game. I have never been so happy to be wrong. I will not say anything more than that on the subject, because I truly believe that this game is worth going into blind with no expectations of how things will turn out. Please just give it a try. Finally, regarding the price, I will concede that $15 is quite steep for a game of this scope that came out in 2018. I purchased this for $1.50 on sale, and I think that is an absolute steal. Everyone has their own valuation scale, so you can make your own judgment on what price you believe is fair. It is a shame that this team has not collaborated on anything else! I wish that I had 20 more titles like this in my library. I think I could play a game just like this every day and never get tired of it.

I loved playing this game. It's very short and I hope there will be more games like this. I love the mystery, being out in space, on an unknown space station. The music is good and spooky sometimes. There is audio dialog and text to read. Not too much, a good balance. The puzzles are good and challenging. I love the achievements too. If there is another follow up game like this I would definitely buy it. I would also love to visit this planet again, and I'm still curious what is happening on the planet. If you like this game, I can also recommend some other games I've played that might be a bit similar: - Dead Space - Deliver Us The Moon - Tacoma - Outer Wilds - Star Control: Origins

It's $1.49 (US Dollars), & I feel comfortable saying I do believe it is worth that price, and maybe a bit more. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2794535720 It is short. It feels like something is missing, but it does have enjoyable moments. I got all achieves. I spent a lot of time in the game a few years ago. Though I am not playing it again, I just want those looking at it to know it's not bad, it's just not great, and it is short. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2794422677 Good for achievement hunting. If I got them all, you can get them all, too. Nice visuals (I forget the sounds, but I would guess they were good. I don't recall anything bad.) This game is not available in all regions O.o Thanks Schattenkatze for the info.

Excellent puzzle solving in space, not quite in the same league as perhaps Deliver Us the Moon, but gripping stuff nonetheless and exploring the station has a nice, steadily revealing itself to you kind of feel. One downside: the intro cutscene is really naff. But that's about it, the game otherwise is worth trying.
