The Walking Dead: Michonne recycles all of the tropes and cliches of the other games in the Telltale line of games without the proper character development and storytelling needed to live up to the high standard set by the other titles. The Walking Dead Season 1 by Telltale is one of my favorite games of all time. The tale of Lee and Clementine will always hold a special place in my heart. Unfortunately it is a strong candidate for the weakest of the bunch. The hauntingly portrayed lost daughters in this episode definitely casts some strong emotive moments, but overall there was just not enough time to properly present a meaningful story and cast of characters. You've got the big bad community dictator. You've got the kid you need to take care of. You've got the troubled past. Every ingredient of a The Walking Dead game is here. But it's really just a skeleton of the other games. Unless you're a die-hard fan of this series like me, skip this one.

I Recommend getting this on a discount Michonne deserved her own story. The atmosphere, choices, and emotional moments were really good, and the combat was easily the highlight for me. It's shorter than the main telltale season, But it still feels like a soild little side story for TWD fans. Definitely worth playing if you enjoy the series

A short but solid spinoff of Telltale's "The Walking Dead" series. There are some pretty cool moments and brutal choices that were fun to experience in a playthrough. It is definitely worth a purchase for fans of the other games!

I played this season for the first time and decided to start with it before jumping into Clementine’s story. Honestly, the story is pretty decent, but nothing mind-blowing — just a solid one. I’d probably rate it around 5/10. The idea of exploring a canonical character is interesting, but it’s clearly aimed more at fans of the comics, so if you’re not familiar with them, quite a few things feel underexplained. I also don’t think the game is really worth buying at full price. You’re better off waiting for a sale, or just getting the main story about Lee and Clementine instead. For achievement hunters, though, it’s good game. You can finish the game in about 3–4 hours at a relaxed pace and unlock all the achievements along the way. There are no special conditions or missables — just play through the game and you’ll get them all.
