Hey kiddo, Handsome Jack here... and I just played Batman: The Telltale Series, and apparently being a billionaire superhero isn't stressful enough, so this game decided Bruce Wayne also needs to spend his evenings making terrible decisions in front of a man who desperately needs to stop wearing clown makeup. Fantastic. Now, I understand Batman. Rich guy, enormous company, terrifying gadgets, dramatic voice, questionable relationship with the concept of personal boundaries. Honestly, we have a lot in common. The difference is that when I have a problem, I call security. When Bruce has a problem, he puts on a bat costume and punches it. The interesting part is that you're not just playing Batman. You're playing Bruce Wayne too, which means you get to attend fancy parties, talk to politicians, manage Wayne Enterprises, and pretend everything is completely fine while Gotham is actively collapsing around you. That's what I call executive management. And the choices! Oh, kiddo, the choices. Every five minutes the game asks you to make some incredibly important moral decision. Tell the truth? Lie? Punch the guy? Don't punch the guy? Trust someone? Betray them? And every time I'm sitting there thinking, “Bruce, buddy, you're a billionaire. Just buy the building.” Apparently that's not how superheroes work. The story is pretty good, though. It takes familiar Batman characters and throws some interesting twists at them, and watching Bruce try to balance Batman with his public life is genuinely entertaining. The voice acting is strong, the atmosphere feels like Gotham, and when the game lets Batman actually be Batman, it's great. The combat is... well, it's a Telltale game. You're not exactly mastering the martial arts. You're pressing buttons when the screen tells you to press buttons and occasionally feeling like the greatest detective alive because you successfully noticed a glowing object. But that's okay. I didn't come here for Dark Souls. I came here to watch Batman punch criminals and have incredibly uncomfortable conversations. And boy, does he deliver. 8/10, kiddo. Great story, fun characters, some genuinely clever twists, and enough Batman drama to make even Gotham's therapy industry financially viable. I'd give it a 9, but apparently Bruce Wayne is allowed to own a billion-dollar company without once consulting me. Honestly? Terrible corporate governance. I'd restructure Wayne Enterprises by Monday.

A vicious and brutal take about a city battered by corruptive influence and criminal underpinnings. A fair quantity of villainous notables to be encountered. Mostly lenient QTE based action though a few game overs if you're not nimble enough with keyboard or controller. First-rate voice acting and five-star production values.

A Fresh, Brutal Take on the Legend Batman™: The Telltale Series delivers a bold and thrilling reimagining of the Dark Knight. Its genius lies in a shocking premise: what if Thomas Wayne wasn't Gotham's saint, but part of its corruption? This twist reframes Bruce's entire crusade, creating the most psychologically compelling Batman story in years. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3523444517 The gameplay brilliantly splits between two equally engaging roles. You don't just play as Batman during spectacular, QTE-driven brawls that feel like directing a brutal action movie. Crucially, you also play as Bruce Wayne, navigating high-society galas and press conferences where dialogue choices and public perception are your weapons. This dual life has never felt more integral or fresh. https://youtu.be/97tKs257vVc This is a must-play for any Batman fan seeking a mature, character-driven story. It masterfully balances detective work, Bruce's political maneuvering, and Batman's visceral combat into a cohesive and unforgettable Gotham saga. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3536714406
