The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is a prime example of why people should care about VR gaming. This game makes you feel like you are actually in a post-apocalyptic world because every interaction is based on your physical movement: pulling, pushing, grabbing, holding, and throwing. This also adds so much to the horror atmosphere with very little effort. So watch out to keep your nerves, or you might end up sharting your pants. The gameplay is great, especially the scavenging. You are literally hoarding everyday items and trash like an actual survivor would. Instead of finding generic "metal material" in an office, you are grabbing old keyboards and empty cans, which makes the world feel much more authentic. Back at your base, you have to decide which items to recycle for materials and which to keep, which is a great motivator to craft and level up. This loop avoids monotony; you start with terrible weapons that force you to avoid zombies as much as possible, but eventually, you gain the power to confront them with your new gear. However, while the progression works against the zombies, it’s a different story with human enemies. The game often forces you into combat with other survivors rather than letting you maintain peace or avoid them. This feels a bit off for a The Walking Dead title. Combined with the clunky stealth mechanics and the high lethality of armed NPCs, these segments can become quite annoying. On the other hand, the human characters you encounter are very memorable. In general I'm glad to say that the story is well-crafted and stands strong as its own tale within the The Walking Dead universe. While there are other modes beside the main story, I haven't played them to give an opinion. But what I can say is this: If you love VR for the immersion, you should really play this, especially if you are a Walking Dead fan.

I did a stealth move with my actual body where I crouched behind a car and I stabbed a zombie in the head and pulled it behind cover with me like it was splinter cell. 10/10

all the negative reviews are from people who aren't willing to take two seconds to go into the keybinds and selecting from one of the MANY community profiles for the meta controllers. Game runs fine on the Quest 3S.

This is a very good and immersive VR game. I played it on PSVR2 Pros - Immersive looting, crafting and combat. - Good exploration with several hidden areas and items - Atmosphere is ideal for a walking dead game - Good length for a VR game unless you rush through the story without doing any side content. - Your progress carries over from this game into the next game Neutral -Default controller binding didn't work so I had to change it to a community binding and then it worked perfectly. Cons - The game starts very slowly but once you get past the first day it gets better. - Respawning zombies are annoying, if you clear out a room and then leave and go back in they respawn. - Optimisation could be better, overall it's a mostly smooth experience but sometimes there is random stuttering. - Human AI is a bit stupid and could be improved. It takes too long for them to spot you. Overall Rating 8.5/10
