The Boba Teashop is a surprisingly effective psychological horror experience wrapped in a cute, cozy boba café simulator. It’s short, smart, and delivers its scares with a careful balance of absurdity and dread. If you enjoy games like The Closing Shift, Paratopic, or Not for Broadcast with a creepy twist, this is worth an hour of your night—with or without the pearls. Is It Scary? Yes—not in your face, scream-every-minute scary, but existential, lonely, unsettling scary. The horror creeps in slowly and hits you hardest when you're lulled into the normal rhythm of work. If The Closing Shift and Papers, Please had a baby in a haunted boba shop, it would look something like this.

A Great Indie Horror Experience! This is the kind of indie horror game that doesn’t rely on creepy music to create an oppressive atmosphere, it manages to build genuine fear. The jumpscares are so great and well executed that one is enough to make you feel paranoid about every decision you make afterwards. The story is solid and grows progressively darker and more twisted through the 7 days of your shift. The ending was completely unexpected, shocking, and fit the story perfectly. An endless mode or even a time mode will be great though. If you're looking for a good and creepy horror game that you can finish in one sitting, this one is absolutely worth your time and money !

thought i was just gonna chill n serve boba. instead i blinked twice, lost 3 years of eyesight, screamed 3 times, bonded w pixel customers, n now i'm emotionally unemployed cuz the game ended too fast. best 40 mins of my life tbh. would open my doomed boba shop again without thinking

Great cozy horror game that I enjoyed playing quite a bit. The game itself is pretty simplistic with its level design and story compared to lets say [Chilla's Art] The Closing Shift for example and I feel like more details to the two could of improved the game quite a bit but The Boba Teashop was fun nonetheless https://youtu.be/XYBivjv9xYI
