A short, tense walking simulator that delivers some solid jumpscares within its brief runtime. The psychological horror atmosphere works well, though the actual gameplay is practically on rails from start to finish. Good for a quick one-and-done spooky evening, but don't expect much replay value.
It’s definitely not a AAA experience but it’s slim pickings out there for passable horror games set at this time of year. Despite the title, this is a Christmas/New Years horror game, and it’s pretty middle of the road in terms of overall quality. Definitely a few creepy moments. If you can get it on sale I am sure you could justify buying it. Be aware though it took about 40 minutes to beat, in case you are trying to find your price point.
