really fun game! the crafting is good, and building a base/village is really fun and rewarding. enjoyed discovering the biomes and exploring dungeons. good little pixel survival sandbox game. i have a few of these kinds of games on steam as well as several more spread across other devices and this is one of my favorites. my fiancee even watched me play the game. her reason for watching, and i quote; "im curious about what you are playing because i have never seen you smile so big or for this long."

I've really been enjoying this game despite the glitches that it definitely has. This game has adventure, quests, crafting, npcs to add to your town, farming and full creativity to create and mold your world and character style to your liking. I'm also quite impressed with the size of the map and how many areas there are, items to find and recipes to unlock as well as how many dungeons. I really REALLY hope that whoever created this continues to work out those glitchy kinks in the game because this game really is something special and so much fun! The glitches are not bad enough to avoid playing the game, i really think this game is worth it for sure and the glitches aren't that bad. Until they do work out the glitches here are a few things that have helped me get around them: (1.) multi-player connection issues almost always aren't a problem if everyone connects as fast as you can right after the host launches up the game. (2.) some NPCs go missing from their house you built them but if you leave and go do other things and come back they will usually be there again or you can close the game out and then go back in again and they will be back. (3) certain things might seem glitchy like an item you hung on the wall or shelves where you choose what displays on them can get mixed up with each other but it only looks mixed up so it can be fixed by just opening up the shelf/mount and closing it (4) full graphic glitch like squares missing or houses not letting you complete the wall or something will actually just fix themselves after a bit or you can close out and reopen for faster results (the house wall issue is because the wall you placed is technically there, just didn't load in for some reason but it will eventually) (5) basically most glitches fix after closing out of the game and going back in again and they don't happen often enough for this to interrupt a lengthy game session.

This is a fun linear game with a nice small story. Build your base is the little world. Gather NPCs. Fight goblins, bats, and different mobs and bosses.

In my honest opinion, I really enjoy Tinkertown! It's a chill, cozy open-world survival game with an adorable pixelated style. I was recommended this game by a few friends, playing on a multiplayer world for a bit; I was completely hooked! By the time they had found a new thrill-of-the-week game, I was grinding this game heavily. My favorite part about Tinkertown is the grinding. I always found myself being absorbed in collecting resources and building a huge home for all the NPCs like I was playing Terraria. I love the tediousness and repetitive nature of needing to grind for resources and collecting every item. While there are many negative reviews about it, I love the combat system and overall simplicity of the game. It's not something complex, it's just relaxing and cozy. I just recently came back to discover the new content added within the new update; starting the cycle all over again and reeling me back in. I feel Tinkertown really offers a lot if you pace yourself instead of rushing to complete it within an hour. This game does have it's fair share of bugs and glitches just like every other game out there, I've had some that are game-breaking like time not passing or fish never spawning, but I never let it tarnish my view of this game or ruin my fun. If anyone encounters any issues, the Discord server for Tinkertown is the perfect place to open a support ticket to have anyone on the team help you with your issues. They certainly helped me a lot!

Long road ahead for this one Disappointing game feels really clunky and not flushed out enough i hope in future development it goes far overall game play for me is a 2/10 compared to other games of this genre, i feel it falls behind significantly. That being said i hope the dev team focuses on less content and more overall mechanics and game play. love the games feel and end goal just inst there yet.
