Good introduction to assembly programming. Limited registers and logical operators force you to be creative with solutions. If you have experience programming in assembly you can jump straight in but if you do not I would definitely recommend reading the entire manual and some community guides on best practices. Nominal solutions are not very difficult but optimizing for space and time complexity allows you to get a lot more out of each puzzle!

Getting a girlfriend is easier than solving one of these puzzles, Jesus Christ. Where do i even start, or should i keep it *simple*? The game is fun if you like brainteasers, and really won't appeal to people who like intense games. This game is something where you gotta take seat, and spend 20 minutes thinking of the most optimal solution for the given problems, and that's what makes it fun. You are given two options: Play though the game as quickly as possible, or take your time, figuring out how you're going to solve a problem with the least amount of instructions, cycles or nodes. Game mechanics are easy for people who are familiar with coding, and easy enoug to understand for people with near zero computer knowledge. Its basically watered down Assembly. Regarding story: There is some? I haven't yet finished the game but story is not a leading factor in the gameplay. Price? Eh justified for me, but might be too expensive for people who are new to these types of games. If you're unsure if you wanna buy this game, i'd wait for a steam sale.

I bought this game even though I'm too dumb for Zachtronics games. I'm still too dumb for Zachtronics games, but now I know the very very basics of assembly

I get paid money by writing performant high level code for real-world hardware. Now I can pay someone else money to write barely funtional assembly for made up hardware. 10/10 (Okay for real, if you're the kind of person who disappears into YouTube rabbit holes of retro game code, this game is literally made for you)
