TIS-100 is an excellent game. It's not for everyone, and while I know some people may think I'm crazy for this statement, but it made me a better programmer, and I think that's one of the best things about it. I enjoyed every minute of, and still occasionally go come back to refine a solution (or maybe I'll finally finish those last two unsolved puzzles.. calculating prime factors is hard!)

as a programmer, i really enjoy this game--the challenge comes from how limited you are. even the 6502 had extra registers for gods sake! the TIS-100 has just an accumulator and a backup register (which can only be used with the SWP instruction switching ACC and BAK), so even the simplest of tasks becomes a really fun programming puzzle to solve. every completed puzzle makes you feel like a badass. definite recommend
