The most underrated Trackmania game. It diverges from the traditional formula, but I really like the style and look this game goes for: arcady and cyberpunk-esque. It lacks a lot of QOL features from the TM2 games, yes, and it sometimes isn't super polished with Randsteins and landing bugs making a notable return in Stadium, but holy cow are the cars fun to drive. I used to be a Stadium one-trick pony, but this game made me really appreciate alternate environments; although I will say that grip changes in Canyon and Lagoon sometimes make me want to die. Don't buy this for the multiplayer experience however, as the servers are pretty much dead, and it never really was as good as in TMNF anyways. Thankfully, the campaign is arguably the best of all Trackmania games. If you like racing games, definetly pick this up on sale and give it a shot.

works perfectly on Linux. Just switch to Proton-GE and it goes. Without it, uplay uses some ancient version but switching compat layers fixed it completley on both Bazzite and SteamOS. Very fun game too!

NOTE: You need to create an Ubisoft account to play the game, but we all know how Ubisoft can be. Don't worry, you can delete it. Yes, this is a positive review, but that's only when looking at this game only. The main competitor to this game in the same Trackmania series is the ManiaPlanet titles, also known as Trackmania 2. Get ManiaPlanet instead of Turbo, because not only can you get a bunch of other stuff in ManiaPlanet, but you can also download 100MB-each Titlepacks (the games in ManiaPlanet) that replicate the tracks in Turbo. However, note that you also must create an account for ManiaPlanet. A unique one that unfortunately can't be deleted. Personally, I see this as ManiaPlanet for people who aren't sure if they would like ManiaPlanet. That's it.

Best Trackmania ever made. Unfortunately pushed towards EOL by Ubisoft in terms of online play, but who cares, still very enjoyable.
