Suprising work from Turkish publishers, excellent game if you enjoy the gladiator concept. It’s a roguelike, so if you die on day 30, you start over from day 1 and face the same bosses and enemies again. Despite its grindy nature, you should be able to finish the game in <15 hours with everything unlocked. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Also, don’t say I didn’t warn you: Break the Loop!

As someone who's been looking for a new rouglite/hack n slash to play this definitely checked my boxes, especially as I'm a fan of gladiators and roman mythology. For the game being released for 2 days (at the time of this review) I'm surprised at how much content there is and how fleshed out it felt. Its pretty nuanced and is at a great start. I've ran into no bugs (so far) and couldn't put it down. Fairly typical hack n slash rogue lite with the main controls being block, dodge, attack and 2 skills. Every day that you survive you upgrade your current equipment and unlock bonuses. Everytime you die you're sent to the death realm where you can unlock new skills and upgrade various attributes. It differentiates from button-mashing hack n slashes as timing is involved with blocking/dodging to survive longer (not to the extent of kingdom come deliverance or chivalry). You can die REALLY FAST. Pros: - Fights are challenging as the AI doesn't just throw itself at you - No bugs (that i've ran into) - high replayability as each run feels unique - Great variety from blacksmith with different item sets Cons: - Lacking from audio standpoint as there's no dialogue and its mostly sound effects - Does take time to make meaningful progress - Animations does feel a little janky and take time getting used to Feedback would be - Seeing inventory in blacksmith so you can see what items/sets you have equipped - Potentially adding dialogue to tie in the storyline a little better as the audio is a little lacking at this moment - Access to tutorial or a guide. Overall, if you're a fan of action rouglite/hack n slash then this is definitely a game worth trying, especially if you're a fan of Roman mythology and gladiators. Can't wait to see where this game goes!

If you’re truly a fan of roguelike games, I highly recommend giving this one a try. Even though it’s still in Early Access, I barely ran into any major bugs. The combat is incredibly varied, the bosses are fun and challenging, and the enemy AI actually feels smart. Overall, the game already feels like a masterpiece. I played for 3 hours straight the moment it launched and absolutely loved it. WARNING: If you have a girlfriend, boyfriend, or spouse, be careful — this game will make you forget about them completely. Don’t end up getting complained at by your partner like I did.
