Turmoil is like a love letter to the old-school oil rush days, except instead of dusty cowboys and horses, you’re a slick businessman trying to strike it rich by drilling for oil. You build your empire, battle rival oil barons, and, of course, try to avoid bankrupting yourself in the process. The gameplay revolves around buying land, drilling for oil, and trying to sell it for a profit, but watch out! It’s a cutthroat world out there, and the market can shift at any moment. It’s surprisingly addicting, and the mix of strategy, timing, and market manipulation makes it far more intense than you’d expect from a game about drilling for oil. Plus, there’s the added bonus of being able to throw some serious shade at your rivals. It’s a quirky and fun strategy game that’s perfect for anyone who loves a good business challenge.
