Cute game that was fun, especially if you like this sort of minion master gameplay. If you get it on sale I think it is worth it.

Product is exactly what it says on the tin. No padding to extend playtime, no unnecessarily long or repetitive levels of any kind. Pacing is neat, memes are fine and gameplay is fun just like the first game. Price is fair, especially if you wait for it to go on sale. Would recommend to any who enjoy pointing at enemies and then watching said enemies drown under a tide of loyal, murderous idiots.

It was okay. I definitely liked how it had a lot of the same tones as the first one. There were 3 things that really killed it being perfect though: 1. WAY too many and WAY to strong of crossbow dudes near the end. jesus. even with range dmg reduction on item and the rune active, my polar bears were getting slaughtered. 2. The command cap increase when you leveled up a building. It makes units get strong, but now you get less of them. This game is called HORDE. I ended the game with maybe like 9-ish polar bears as my "horde". I miss the first one becaue it always felt like I had this massive army. 3. When you raise units, its always a set 5 that you choose from via totems. The amazingness of the first one was resurrecting whatever you killed. it was awesome. especially resurrecting bosses. That made you feel like a necromancer. This just feels like...a summoner. Overall, it was fun, but I definitely like the first one better as a necromancer game

Well, the name says it. If you like to play the perceived bad guy with a horde of various undead creatures following you around to fight villagers, knights, and elves and others, then this game may be for you. The game is cartoony and does not take itself too seriously. There is a lot of loot, roleplaying and base building. I completed it in about 28 hours, but there is still more to play in this game, such as a harder new game + mode and an arena to fight endless hordes of undead to top your last high score.

Criminally underrated and unexpected fun. Think Diablo's necromancer attacking bases in Starcraft and you're Ainz from the Overlord series. It's cute and grim and there is a lot of polish and effort put into it. There is a constant sense of improvement, they 100% nailed the feeling of progression from the size and power of your horde to the rebuilding of the Necropolis and accessing more upgrades, to new equipment slots becoming available organically over time. The game doesn't waste your time. I discovered this during the Halloween sale but it would also be worth it at full price. From the looks of it, this whole studio is a treasure.
